Mustard powder is a must have in my spice collection at all times. The first time my mom taught me how to make homemade macaroni and cheese, she told me about the secret of mustard powder. It does help in bringing out the flavors. As an adult and thanks to social media, I've taken in so many mac and cheese recipes that now, in addition to the ground mustard, I add a few dashes of hot sauce and when their powers combine, it enhances all the flavors in your cheeses. I promise it's good for other recipes as well. Mainly a flavor enhancer is what I use it for. I make a delicious sausage, kale, and tortellini soup and implement my mustard powder and hot sauce combo on that as well.

I like using ground mustard for potato salad, coleslaw, any vegetable salad, etc. The ground mustard gives a hint of mustard flavor but not like the prepared mustard that has other ingredients and can be overpowering in flavor to the dish.

I put it on stuff. Made stuff taste better. Don't be afraid to season things. A little at first. Just a pinch. Then take more to see how much you can handle.

super reasonably priced, great availability. honestly i would pay as much for a half size as i don't know this item often enough.

If I could give a zero, I would! Bought two, they are horrible, tasteless, stale … threw them away!

Honestly, this mustard has something in it that gives off a hazardous chemicals taste like maybe car wax or brake fluid or the stuff you buy to put in your toilet tank that makes the water dark blue. It did mix up well when I made it but couldn't eat it.
