This is one of the more minimally processed jalapeno pepper slices you can purchase at Walmart, and they contain no food dye which can be difficult to come by. The price point is great in comparison to the name brands, and our family thinks they are delicious!
I love these pickled jalapeños! I've purchased them multiple times and they've been consistently spicy, crispy and flavorful. They're quite spicy but still have a great jalapeño flavor. The heat doesn’t overpower the flavor. They're still crispy and cook well despite being pickled. They hold their shaoe and crunch wrll even when cooked into chili or casseroles.
I love this product but sometimes they are hard to get due to being out of stock! I add them to scrambled eggs, omelets, burritos! Not too hot just enough heat for a wonderful flavor!
Great Value strikes again with these jalapeño slices. They have a nice, balanced flavor with just the right amount of heat—enough of a kick without being overpowering. They go great on sandwiches, nachos, and burgers, and add a good bit of crunch too. For the price, they're hard to beat and I'll definitely keep buying them.
Sometimes you want the heat but you also know you will pay for it later. I don't have that problem with this product. I love the taste. I used it in eggs, breakfast burritos and potatoes, on sandwiches and Mexican inspired dishes. It's that hint of something that makes the dish pop!
I got these bc they have less ingredients than other jars of jalapeños, but for some reason these also have no heat. I'm not sure if it's my tongue or what, my little girl swears they're hot. But that could just be a "her" thing, too, so who knows. I recommend these bc they have the least amount of ingredients and they're in a glass jar that can be reused as a cup when you're done with them!
The value was great. The taste was fair for me. It was a bit too soft, but overall it was ok myself personally, I like a bit more of a bite.It was a bit soggy for me
This was a delayed pick up at the store. Yesterday, 4/30/26, I received an email that 2 of these Items were finally ready for pick at my Middletown NY Walmart. Today, less than 24 hours, I receive another email that Walmart will be refunding this portion of my order because they were not picked up in a timely manner. WALMART……Your system sucks!
I can not stand anything walmart anymore. It has gone downhill drastically. It is a constant struggle to get anything from the store with walmart . The prices in the store do not match the checkout prices which is theft cause they know this. The customer service is not empowered to do their job with their hands tied. The products are meh at best. And other stores near are competitive and actually have customer service.
I normally buy another brand of canned jalapeños whenever I don’t buy fresh ones. I decided to branch out because I use other Great Value products and have found that they are very comparable so my desired product plus it’s cheaper. However, I will be going back to paying a little more for my regular items because there are just gross. They like preservatives, no real spice and it’s overwhelming how slimy they are. I used them to make eggs and had to throw my meal away. Do no recommend.
