I only discovered this taste treat relatively recently when I decided to try them on a pizza. What have I been missing all of my life? From now on, when I order a pizza, I'll put on as many banana peppers as I like without the exorbitant pizzeria prices.
I've been buying these for quite a while. The quality is great, the taste is excellent, and the price is better than the name brands. I use it on my sandwiches, as a topping for pizza, and on my salads. You can even add it to your favorite dish for a new taste. the possibilities of uses are endless,,.
These peppers are not that hot, but have a good taste - a little tangy like. I use them in my salads, on my chicken, on top of (and sometimes in) deviled eggs, with chicken salad, potato salad, in Stromboli and cheese steaks, and just about everything else! Very affordable way to add delicious flavor! They last awhile and there have not been any bad peppers in any of the jars i have bought so far. Good deal!
They are great on cheeseburgers and Italian subs. Any kind of sandwich, really. They have a nice sharp flavor, but aren't very hot. Also good on hot dogs and a little bit of ketchup.
I've used these in place of pepperoncini to keep the heat level down. I think they taste very similar, minus the burn. I put them in Mississippi pork recipes. They add a bright, tangy flavor.
I don't like how they don't have decent looking banana peppers in it. The taste is good, but I just don't like how the peppers are packed inside, and how I have to separate them, because there's lot of stems also. I won't buy this specific brand again
Walmart app shows incorrect ingredients. It shows tumeric as the color and the bottle I received shows yellow 5. Please take out the synthetic dye from your falsely advertised great value product. The banana peppers are rubbery and does not taste as good as other brands.
There was a literal wasp or some type of bug in the jar , never opened it I had just pulled it out of the bag from doing a grocery pick up and saw it so immediately threw it away … will never buy this brand again for banana peppers though so grossed out !
Looks like all the banana stems cut off by other companies were sold to Walmart, who then put them in these jars. It is like Stem City in these jars! They advetised them as having a "crunchy texture". Little did I know they were talking about these things. Many Walmart brand items are pretty good, just not this one. Like the song says, let 'em go, let 'em go.
My jar was mostly stems (the top part you cannot eat) and the rest of what was in the jar was covered in some very odd waxy substance. The seal was not broken so I can only fathom that they dropped the quality control on these peppers to ZERO. Years ago these were up there with the namebrand, but now, they are just repulsive.
