Perfect sized bag for folks that like to keep dates around but do not use a lot of them at one time. This bag is reclosable and the dates stay fresh. The dates are wonderful to add to baked goods or to your breakfast oatmeal for a more natural sweetener. They make a good snack filled with peanut butter or a nut.

I really like these dates! They have a delicious sweetness and a soft, pleasant texture. The packaging is also nice and keeps the product fresh. I've tried ordering this item several times before, but unfortunately it was often unavailable. This time I finally received it, and I'm very happy with the quality. I just hope Walmart can keep this product in stock more consistently, as it's definitely worth buying. Overall, a great product—just needs better availability.

Having these dates is all about making the choice for natural snacks as opposed to candy. This is the first time I've ever purchased/eaten dates. I opted for the Great Value brand as it's is the best value for the money spent. The dates serve as a great snack in the workplace lunchbox. Have shared with co workers on occasion.

GV Pitted Deglet Noor dried Dates are a tasty natural fruit snack. They could be used in many recipes but enjoyed right out of the bag. The taste is very sweet and chewy and this kind is more of a whole size instead of chopped. Dates could be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or a healthy snack when used in the serving size or even better 1/2 the serving size! Even goes good with a cup of coffee!

basically just didn't taste like I was expecting them today. I expect them to be sticky and soft and they were not sticky and kind of hard and not that flavorful but I think there's probably a different kind of data should have bought but I don't know I didn't see any other choices so okay

Wanted to use dates for making clean recipes, blended ice cream, and other needs. These are hard and dry and require pre-soaking before using… A much better value than MEDJOOL dates. I wouldn't state that they are an excellent snack because they are so hard and dry and you can't always pre-soak if you want a quick snack so for snacking, I would pass, unless you pre-soak drain and toss in the refrigerator for general cooking and recipes it's OK.

I only recommend this product as a baking ingredient. Although fresh, the dates are not juicy, don't have much taste and the texture is quite firm. I used them to make a date nut filling and they were perfectly fine. I would buy them again for baking but prefer a larger, juicier date for snacking.

this a horrible excuse for a date and almost un eatable. compared to the 7 other types and brands ive eaten this year .the supplier and swller should be ashamed and pull these off the shelf.out of half a b bag there was one decent date .they are hard stringy have a horrible flavor that tastes norhing like a date .i do understand this is a store brand and are cheap but this is un called for .i dont believe these are actual food and are most likely created in a lab somewhere from plastics and glue .

I found these very dry and seemingly old (judging from the dry white color inside the date). They were Not soft, moist, and flavorful. They had little flavor at all. I cannot recommend these. I suggest buying a better brand, even if more expensive.

Terrible would never buy again. Most were hard as a rock. You couldn't even bite them or chew them. I did make a complaint to this effect to the company .gave one star only because if you didn't give any, they wouldn't let you continue with the review.
