Great Value Brand of pitted prunes is just as good as the more expensive brands. They work for the reason most people eat them. I just love prunes and raisins.If you haven’t tried these, you are missing out. They are delicious and moist.

the prunes taste very fresh and I buy them often, but be careful when you're eating prunes from any maker because they once in awhile will have a pit or a piece of the pit inside them

The taste and texture are great (healthy and a good snack) however, each bag I've bought has had several UNPITTED prunes so beware and don't break a tooth. If not for this flaw, this would be a solid 5 star item.

I liked these Great Value Prunes but I'll argue the point of “pitted.” Chew carefully as I bit into an almost full pit and felt like I broke a tooth but luckily did not. Only pit I have come across so far out several bags but it was startling but the prunes are good.

this used to be better quality and taste. after not being in stock for awhile, finally back in but quality has changed and not for the better. Smaller and dryer. Not fresh. Ended up cooking on stove in a little water to make stewed prunes as they are not good right out of the bag anymore. Will be looking for another brand.

These prunes used to be sweet %26 delicious, but my last order of a pkg has been very tough %26 that's never happened before. I don't like stewed, cooked prunes, so eating them from the bag in the fridge was always a perfect healthy snack, but not this bag from my previous order. Very disappointed %26 the dates I always ordered along with the prunes were also easy to eat/chew %26 were DELICIOUS, but my previous order of the dates also turned out to be tough w/hard shells?? inedible I did request a refund for the awful dates, but I didn't report the prunes, though I am today in this msg, which walmart.com never refunds from these very time-consuming for me reviews!

GV Prunes are great tasting and value for the money, however there are large pits in more prunes than most other brands! You have to be careful when eating them so you don’t crack a tooth!!!

I did not receive the item. I didn't even ordered the item. I ordered the dry pineapple. When I saw it was substituted but I didn't receive either one. I want my refund, please!

These plums are like rubber. They are horrible and they have no taste. I eat prunes daily for a snack and these are by far the worst prunes I have ever eaten. Not just 1 bag but both bags that I bought as the same time. Thank you, Becky Baise

Terrible. The taste is nasty , straight in the trash. I will go back to a name brand. Save your money on this product.
