We should all admit that cooking artichokes is a 2 hour ordeal… yes it sucks that these taste like artichoke pickles… but they work well in random dishes for sure! I can't hate on these!
For canned artichokes these are very good! I've had the name brand, and these are just as good. They are big pieces, so you'd need to cut them. But very good!
Very good canned artichokes. There's not any hard stalk pieces that are not edible. They're very good on their own or in salad. You can bread and fry them and they hold up well.
Texture was good. Taste was ok as it content was in neutral tasting liquid. I'm more accustomed to tasting vinegar and olive oil liquid. Still good value for adding to salads. I would buy again.
Used to make my own bruschetta and dip… free from all the crap additives and preservatives. RINSE, DICE, EVOO, ACV %26 season to taste. Retaining one star due to high sodium content.
we tried this for the first time and baked them my son hated them. I thought they were ok for a new vegetable to try. I think it is just a matter of taste and depends on how you make them.
it is packed in water making it a bit more metallic than oil packed artichokes. I am just making artichoke spinach cheese dip. it will be just fine.
This item is a very low quality product. The actual heart, which is the only edible part was hard on the outside. It was a little better than the frozen item I purchased last time but I will not be buying again. I have bought the large artichoke hearts before and they are okay but still way too many leaves and very few hearts. All packaging companies: The leaves of the artichoke are not edible…stop charging us for them! Over half of this product is trash and I have to cut it up and then dispose of the trash.
i ordered 6 cans. 4 cans had damaged rims that we all know can compromise the seal. i will have to reorder as i need these for my catering requirement tomorrow
I ordered 3 can. shipped to my house. all 3 cans are smashed, dented, and popped a little open. I don't have 7 dollars to replace it. I'm disabled so I can't go back and return them
