Great tasting product to add to oatmeal, or cereal, salads or cookie dough. If you haven't baked your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and added a handfull of dried cherries...well you are missing out. I only wish this product was back in the stores and not only available through Walmart.com.
Great for adding into your favorite cereal in the morning, or salad in the afternoon! Works well in sauces for ham and chicken, too. These cherries add sweet to a trail mix also. Don't forget baking them into bread rolls %26 cookies! :) The price, quality, and taste of these cherries really delivers. They are sweet enough and tasty enough that you can eat them plain. The only downsides I see is that they have added sugar and they aren't 'plump' like some dried fruit. But overall, I would highly recommend them for adding into...well, all kinds of recipes! :)
These taste so good. I don't eat them as a snack, but I love them to replace raisins. I recently put them in a Waldorf salad- delicious, with a bit of sweet, a bit of tart to reach more tastebuds. Yum! If they are too big for a recipe, simply snip them in half with kitchen shears.
These cherries are so good! I bought them to go in my chicken salad but I love them straight out of the bag as a snack and in muffins, cakes, cookies and I keep looking for more ways! They are a little expensive for the amount but I just keep eating them!
I use these sweetened dried cherries for my salads. I also use them in the bottom of my 32 0unce water cup. After I finish the water they are all plumped up. I tried eating them, but they were not sweet enough for me, so I put them in my Honey bunches of Oat with milk!!
Getting away from chips and candy for a sweet treat. Still like Mounds Bars ,don't get me wrong but this tangy sweet fruit Snack is absolutely delicious. The price is reasonable.
I was honestly surprised at how juicy and delicious these were. They would be perfect on top of salad or you can carry it around and throw it in your purse easy for a quick snack.
It's annoying that walmart only carries store brands of most dried fruits. These are fine. I add them to salads for a touch of sweet (and pretty good fiber, too). Same calories as most others brands, so people complaining about added sugar need to get a grip. Any other mainstream brands also contain sugar; you'd need to go to a sprouts or other "healthy" store to get a non-sugared alternative.
I get these for salad regularly. The taste is great and mostly soft like raisins. You get a few that seem dry but the taste is still good. I do recommend these to amp up your salad.
Package weight does state 5 oz. Cherries were plump and juicy-ish. They seemed freshly dried ( if that makes sense). I was mostly shocked at the price (having not purchased them in 3 mos.) So, 5 ounces at $3.84 is 76 cents an ounce. $ .76/ounce X 16 oz. in a pound...THESE CHERRIES ARE OVER $12 lb.
