Yes these are smaller than I liked, but they were a great price. This was my first time purchasing these as I buy a particular brand out of PA (iykyk). I needed these for a copycat salad recipe and after going through this jar, another salad request came up, so bought my usual brand. These are also good right out of the jar as well lol.
I use these in making MIssissippi Roast n the crock pot. Pu a few around the roast for added flavor. These are tasteful and have a form texture. They last a long time in the jar once opened and placed in fridge. Good for sandwiches, salads, %26 pizzas. Use your imagination.
I use these a lot not only for basic bbq but on sub sandwiches, salads and in the great Mississippi crock pot roast which everyone loves. ive used them with stew meat that I shredded and put in tacos, subs and over noodles drenched with the sauce.
These pickled pepperoncinis were slightly sweet, tangy and deliciously spicy! I added them to our lunch sandwiches, which was amazing! Besides great taste, these pepperoncinis are also healthy for you-they are high in vitamin A, which is good for your eyes and immune function. These are all around amazing! A must try!
I see some folks say these are small and very hot. Yes and no. They vary from jar to jar on both counts. I've had some that were eye watering, nose running hot and some that were not. Over all I'd say they're decent but maybe a bit inconsistent. I could say the same for the name brand ones.
I had a craving just to eat some of these as a snack. This brand is hot! I don't think I've ever had pepperoncinis that are this hot in my life. I found myself googling them because I couldn't remember what type of pepper they were and wound up on a Scoville chart and was like no way …I watch hot ones that YouTube show and I feel like a big time wimp right now. definitely prefer the mild ones as far as pepperoncini's go. Gawh dang. On the plus side they are fresh. I don't like mine all soft and mushy. Yuck. 3 starts cause pick ‘em earlier please. 😂
These were the worst, by far, I have ever had. Pretty much find any other brand. I'm not sure where to start but the peppers were tough, the brine had a metallic taste and scent was even off. The scent wasn't the pleasant pickled vinegary note you usually have with pepperoncini , rather it had what I could only describe as an artificial odor. Only positive was the price point, but not worth it if you have to return it because it seems like a manufacturing fault ? Or simply how bad they were. Idk.
These are the worst Pepperoncinis I have ever eaten. They were hotter than normal. They are hard like they had been picked and left for a few days before canning. Some had been torn and mutilated while packed in the jar. I won't buy this brand of pepperoncinis again.
I may have bought a bad batch of the Great Value whole pepperoncini peppers. the jar I received was so salty, I couldn't eat it. and I like a good bit of salt for my food. these were just way, way too salty to consume. sorry. I would not recommend these.
There was a large piece of plastic inside the jar, which was concerning. The pepperoncini themselves were extremely tough and very hard to slice and impossible to chew. This was not a pleasant or safe experience, and I won't be purchasing this product again.
