(3 pack) Great Value Yellow Popping Corn, 32 oz

These popcorn kernels are like a bad decision at 2 a.m. I told myself I'd only have a handful. Thirty minutes later, I was sweaty, ashamed, and hiding the evidence from my family. Every kernel popped beautifully except one, which stayed hard the entire time and contributed absolutely nothing. Would buy again. My self-control wouldn't.

This great value yellow popping corn pops up beautifully. the popcorn is a good size, fluffy and when you're eating it it has that perfect crunch you know. I like to put a little bit of olive oil on it and some salt then it tastes just like movie theater popcorn. I've used other brands of kernels before that don't pop up as plump as these. and so I just really like this brand the best.

I usually buy Orville Redenbacher, and lately I've noticed for every 1/2 cup of popcorn I fix, about 1-2 tablespoons of kernels goes unpopped. The I tried Great Value brand, and suddenly there were only maybe a teaspoon or so of unpopped kernels at the bottom of the bowl. I'm thinking this may be my new go-to brand.

Great popping corn kernels. So absolutely affordable too. A little makes alot. I use a microwave popcorn popper, no oil or butter added to the bowl. Very few kernels remain unpopped, no more than bags of popcorn I've purchased. I top off my popcorn with melted Land o Lakes salted butter. Delicious!

Pops great - what else do you want in popcorn? I pop them in a paper lunch bag in the microwave. Just put in 1/3 cup or so, microwave it on high and in less than 2 minutes you have a great snack. Add melted butter, salt or whatever you want. No need to pop these in oil. Much better for you than the pre-prepared bags, and you can make as much or as little as you want. No, I was not paid for this--wish I had been. Seriously, it's just popcorn but it's good.

This isn't as good as the leading brand (y'know, the one made by the guy with the glasses and bowtie), but it's significantly cheaper. (Call me crazy, but I don't care how good a brand of popcorn is, seven bucks for a jar is absurd.) And if you butter and season it right, it's pretty dang tasty.

This kid the first time I have tried Great Value popcorn kernels and I was not really impressed. Although it popped easily, a lot of the popcorn was small, hard kernels and not large and fluffy like I was hoping for. Although it is considerably less expensive than other brands, I prefer other brands.

This is the third time I've bought these kernels in a pinch and all I can say is they have always been stale out of the package. I've made them in a microwave popcorn maker with some salt and butter flavored oil and they are so stale they hurt to chew though. If you don't mind tough popcorn then go for it but I'm not getting these again.

It's my first time being disappointed with a Great Value product. The kernels are small, the popped popcorn is small as well, and I have to keep spitting out the hulls while eating it. I tried popping it again on another occasion, and the result was the same—so the whole bag ended up in the trash.

The popcorn kernels must be old or second grade because they barely pop they're very small and hard. Not large fluffy popcorn that I used to. Maybe because I had it delivered they cleared out old inventory. This is something you would feed to the ducks
