I really like this salsa! As someone who loves cooking I like this using this salsa for adding quick flavor to different meals. It's perfect for my taco nights and for just for dipping with chips my favorite snack! It's a delicious authentic texture and the mild heat is just right! There is honestly isn't a thing I don't love about it!

This is a delicious salsa! It is the perfect blend of chunky and smooth. It has a smooth, tasty tomato base with delightful chunks of onion and peppers! It is perfect for families who argue over smooth or chunky salsa. There is ample tomato base for those who prefer a smooth salsa and plentiful onion and pepper chunks for those of us who enjoy a chunkier salsa. I put this right up there with a good restaurant style salsa! I look forward to trying some spicier levels soon!

Herdez chunky mild salsa is truly the best jarred salsa I have ever tasted. It really does taste like restaurant salsa. It is full of flavor without the heat. This is definitely the salsa that I will be buying from now on, in fact I already bought more! It is rich and chunky, perfect for dipping. I'm so glad I was able to try this because even my pickiest child loved it too!

I really enjoy using this mild salsa both for dipping and in my recipes. It tastes like it was freshly made and is not sweet like some other salsas. I found the mild version to be to my liking because it still has some zip to it but not so much that it interferes with my other seasonings in recipes. Nicely chunky and not runny. I loved it!! Consistency isn't too chunky but isn't paste/thick either. People fect for chip dip. Great flavor. Mild, not overly spicy but doesn't just taste like tomato paste like some brands do. Will buy again for parties and get together. Price is great for the size.

This Salsa was great I am always trying to find ones like the ones in the restaurant and this is the closest ive found.It tastes great its definitely my go to from now on.I recommend to all my friends its a must have. I received this for free for my honest review

It's exactly what I was hoping for in a salsa. The consistency isn't completely blended all the ingredients away, which is what I prefer- to see the ingredients I'm enjoying! The flavor matched the heat level and is perfect for the whole family. Great for chips while watching games, salads in the summer outside, or other gatherings.

Thanks to Herdez for the free product! Fresh tasting with nice vegetable chunks. Nice consistency and spice. I really enjoyed it. For me, the only drawback was a somewhat sticky aftertaste or something. From the ingredients there is something added for thickness and maybe that's what I noticed. There were no bioengineered ingredients included as listed on another brand.

This product was free to me for an honest review. I tried this both room temp and cold with fresh tortilla chips. I would say that cold is the way to eat it. I liked that it was mild with just a touch of heat that u can feel after not hot but appreciated. I would add more salt. I also wanted it to be more chunky it is a bit on the soupy side. I am going to make some mexican rice this week and I will be using this for that. I feel this will be better for cooking with the consistency and mild heat where I'm incontrol of the salt. Even though I got this for free the price point is good and I would again buy it for recipes that require salsa for baking or cooking.

I bought this expecting salsa with actual chunks, but apparently HERDEZ and I have very different definitions of the word "chunky." This is basically tomato juice that got invited to a salsa party and showed up with three diced veggies as proof it belonged. Flavor? Surprisingly good. Price? Totally fair. Texture? Missing in action. I'Il be auditioning a new brand next time.
