I buy a lot of of these shelf stable meals for my mother. I am a caregiver to her, and if the weather would get bad and I would not be able to make it to her house I know that she has several meals in the cupboard, not taking up freezer space. These are a perfect size for her. I have bought several varieties.
I am so please withHormel Completes. My favorites are the chicken and meatloaf. I am a Senior and live alone. When I don't want to cook a whole meal on the stove, I heat up a Chicken or meatloaf dinner meal in my microwave. I add green beans to my meal.Portions are enough, and the graveyard tops it off. Delicious. And “no pots or pans to wash” ThankYou Hormel …and ThankYou Walmart… for offering your grocery delivery. Barbara
I purchase these and have them delivered to my father cross country because he loves them. They are easy for him to heat and eat and they are stored on the shelf of the pantry so no refrigeration needed. I always ask if I can send something else and this is his favorite go-to. So he gets these whenever he runs out.
that's that's pretty good shelf stable really good for your backup pantry in case something goes wrong earthquake extra not very tasty but good enough textures a little off but edible I got several of them and I eat them every once in a while just to rotate them
My family loves mostly all of the Hormel Compleat Ready to Heat %26 Eat Meals!! 😊 We normally add a little butter, salt and pepper, a sprinkle of garlic and onion powder, a dash of Sazon and top it with some ketchup after heating in the microwave for about 3-4mins bc we live our food piping 🥵 hot!!
Walmart, I ordered three sets of three of the Hormel meatloaf and brown gray with mashed potatoes,....and which would have been a total of nine,..we received eight Hormel dinners not nine. So would like to know what Walmart intends to do about it,...please reply. I have been very pleased with all my orders . Thank You, Nancy
So salty, I had to take Tums to help with the burning in my chest/throat. Had this for lunch yesterday and it was very mid. Patty was tender enough for meatloaf. Brown gravy was overly salty. Potatoes had thick, almost homemade texture but lack flavour. Maybe add salt to the potatoes and reduce how much goes into the gravy?
I read the reviews on this item and decided to try it. I can't believe that it tasted so shockingly bad to me. It had an after taste that was overwhelming. I could barely taste the actual meat and potatoes with gravy over that taste. After a few bites, the "after taste" no longer goes away...it simply lingers in your mouth. It's a ??? chemical taste maybe ?? that's all I can think of right now. It definitely doesn't resemble any seasoning. I just finished it, and there is still a metaluc taste on the front of my teeth. If you have a discerning pallet, I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS !. I have eaten other kinds of this Hormel brand and enjoyed them, like the Beef Pot Roast for example.
Pretty bad! Meat had the texture of pressed canned dog food and tasted as such. Potatoes and gravy awful too. Took a few bites- just couldnt finish. Maybe ill try the Alfredo one someday- maybe!
It was one of the worst products I've bought in years. I cannot describe the taste of it other than despicable. Literally had to spit out the second bite. I only took a second to make sure my first one wasn't what I thought. Unfortunately it was also awful, threw away the rest.
