These tray, easy heat up meals, are a great option for both my truck driver husband and my elderly mother. The meals have good texture and flavor, best when you find out what flavors you like and continue to purchase those. Again great meal option for anyone!
The meaty roast beef pieces are easy to chew and the gravy with the potatoes make for a great meal for an elderly person looking for quick, delicious meals without all the kitchen preparation. I love that these meals are shelf stable and do not need to be refrigerated. And that the meat pieces are easy to chew for my elderly mom.
UMMMM, Ummmm, good! These dinners are the best tasting and most delicious I have found that comes in a package. The meat is tender and the potatoes taste like the real thing. The portions are good and it only takes 2 minutes in the microwave! I haven't found anything that is better than these dinners. My husband and I both enjoy them! I give them 5 stars!
This beef pot roast meal is Great! It is shelf stable so you don't need to refrigerate it. Just put it in the pantry with your canned goods. But it probably has a lot of preservatives. A health nut might want to avoid this. But it is a very good option for everyone else. Plastic microwave container makes it easy to heat up when you are in a hurry. I really enjoy the taste too. I will definitely purchase again. And I would definitely recommend.
great dish on own, if you want to take uostairs and add health value eating, its epic to add Walmart frozen cooked carrots...over the top....home run... will try and submit pics, pure comfort food combined...just wow. add Walmart Great Value frozen carrots....
Taste and value are fine. Packaging is terrible. Comes in plastic tray with a plastic cover that is near impossible to remove. I used channel lock pliers from my workshop to get it off. No way you're pulling it off with bare hands. Hormel needs to change package.
The potatoes don't heat well, they are very clumpy %26 dry. Had tried several times from diffrent Stores and realized that the store isn't selling old stock, they just arn't that good and to get just 2 small chunks of meat no way not worth ever getting again.
I only took it out of the tray because it smelled so bad after it was heated. The potatoes are brown all the way through, and the "succulent roast beef" is a slice from chopped meat loaf about 3" round.
These are full of potatoes and a skimpy slice of meat .Very salty and it takes longer in a new microwave than the package states. For the price they really need more meat and gravy.I only buy now if I feel like I need shelf stable quick snacks.Bitnsure what happened to the tender beef ones.I can't find them anymore.Either way so far all flavors I bought lack enough meat. These should have equal meat and potatoes and enough gravy for the thick potatoes.I will buy for shelf life but only if on sale due to the lack of meatin them.
In my and my friend's opinion completes have the absolute worst tasting mashed potatoes.Actually ordered Salisbury steaks and tough roast beef were substituted. Wish beef stroganoff or swedish meatballs would be carried in store or available as singles on line Friend says Turkey is good.
