Macayo's Restaurants in Arizona are the creators of this wonderful enchilada sauce. Since moving to Oregon i have had to do without. I was beyond thrilled to find that Walmart in Oregon had the sauce available via shipping. I was able to gift some to my family who all appreciate the flavor profile of Macayo's enchilada sauce. This is the best red enchilada sauce on the market. Very flavorful, reasonably priced, and closest in taste to my favorite Mexican restaurant Rusty's Hacienda (RIP). When Walmart stopped carrying it for a short time, I contacted the parent company and ordered from the factory! Even with the high shipping cost, I was happy for that option as I did not want to be without Macayo Enchilada Sauce! Thankfully Walmart offers it again!!!!

The best canned enchilada sauce in my opinion. It is mild but it still has enough spicy flavor without that bitter aftertaste. I used to bring it back from Arizona for years, then I found it at Ralph's, but they no longer carry it. Thank goodness I can now have it delivered from Walmart!

...this was my second choice. so that's saying something! But some people would probably like this one best, especially if they used to eat at Macayo's restaurants. I think it was a little lower in salt than some others.

This is the best enchilada sauce I have ever used. It seems the Walmart stores no longer stock it, which is to bad. I had to order it on line, but it is that good!!

This is the best canned enchilada sauce. I love it when I dont have as much time to cook and I can use this to speed up the process and it still taste delicious. I only wish it was gluten free as my husband is the only one in our household who isnt gluten intolerant.

All the other enchilada sauces taste off to me some even taste more like ketchup. Not this one! This is my go to and every time I order I am going to order an extra can. I love Mexican food and I prefer authentic as possible. This tastes just like the sauce used when I was little. Please don't ever change the recipe! A true fan!

I love Macyos Enchilada Sauce, the only thing I don't like is they never have the smaller cans. When it is just my husband and I the big can is too much and more than half the can goes to waste.

compares to some more popular brans. Just purchased it to save some money but was surprised at flavor.

If I could give this a negative 10, I would. First order received was two severely dented cans. Thank you to John Andrew (Customer Service) for promptly issuing a replacement order and assuring that I did not need to deal with repackaging and returning (!!). Received replacement order as promised the next day and those two cans were dented even worse than the first two! Thank you to Walmart Customer Service though, for promptly issuing me a refund!! Just do not order that brand Macayo Mexican Foods. But WELL DONE, WALMART, for providing a prompt resolution both times! AI chat is a pain though, in the initial stages of the process. There will never be a replacement for talking to a human being!
