When you are in the mood for a delicious sweet treat or a mid day savory snack, there's nothing better than a cup cake, muffin, corn bread or sliders. This muffin pan is very versatile with it's durable non-stick surface inside and out. Flip it over and it can hold tortillas to warm in the oven for tacos. Just fill and serve. Or maybe make some kind of pastry in a similar fashion. On the other hand the other side is perfect for single serving cheese cakes. I made chocolate chip brownie muffins. They came out perfectly browned and didn't stick to the pan. It's difficult to stay on a diet with so many cooking ideas. Ham and cheese sliders sound delicious. You can even make poached eggs. Wash before using and towel dry immediately. Dishwasher safe, Made in China
Makes the perfect pizza puffs!! The muffin pan is sturdy, thick, and very reliable! And nothing stuck to the pan. I didn't use liners for the pizza puffs. They came right out of the pan. The cheese didn't stick to the tops. It's definitely non-stick!
I recieved my Mainstays 12 Cup Muffin Pan after a week later of putting in my order. I have only baked cupcakes one time in my whole life. This is the perfect size pan to make some cupcakes. This cup muffin pan comes in the color dark gray. This is a non stick pan . I love it because my cup muffin won't stick on the pan , making my cupcakes just perfect. It's a 12 muffin pan, so it's obvious it makes 12 perfectly cupcakes. It makes 12 round muffins, the shape comes in round. Another thing I like about my Mainstays 12 Cup Muffin Pan not only can it be hand washed but it's also safe to put it in the dishwasher on those busy days. I have always order products from mainstays and have always been very pleased and happy with them all. They have many quality products at a perfect price. I recommend this Mainstays 12 Cup Muffin Pan to everyone who loves baking goodies or for first time bakers like myself.
Was pleasantly surprised to see the nonstick lives up to its name for easy cleaning. We make egg cups in it as well and it works well. Only issue is the very edge of the lip has a crevice in each that you kinda have to dig a nail in to ensure all the leftovers are out.
Exactly what I was looking for. A quality cupcake pan which is durable and affordable. This is a good medium weight pan with a medium to dark silver nonstick coating. Many people don't realize but the color of your muffin pan influences how your muffins turn out. Lighter-colored pans result in lighter-colored muffins, while darker pans create muffins with more browning. It is dishwasher safe and is part of the Mainstays line which I have been impressed with. I work as a nanny and the children and I are always baking something and this pan is great for cupcakes, muffins and other treats we invent. The pan holds a standard 12 cupcakes or muffins and the compartents are 1 and 1/2 inches deep making it the perfect size for a consistent baked good. Cupcake pans can be versatile as besides the baked goods we make pizza bites by putting a little pizza dough in the bottom of the pan, top with sauce , cheese and pepperoni, macaroni and cheese cups and the all time favorite, mini ice cream cakes. I use liners when making cupcakes but not for the other baked goods. Thats why we wanted the non stick pan and it works perfectly . I love the non stick pan as if I drip on the pan it is simple to wipe off and when cleaning it there is no need to scrub making clean up a breeze. Although it is dishwasher safe I find handwashing anything with a non stick coating is better off being hand washed as it preserves the coating.
It's alright. Cheaply made, it seems they made the cups separately and then sealed the metal around them so the cups spin. I don't recommend spinning them around too much, it smells bad when you do.
Rather than it being one piece, the cups are somehow installed between sheets of metal, but that means some of them twist and I imagine the pan will rust easy, as water can slip between the sheets of metal. I didn't even use the pan and am returning right away.
There's mental shavings from the design flaws that just do not stop falling out of the holes cut for the cups. Even after cleaning several times the metal shavings just keep falling out of the cup holder rings. I don't know why this is not a solid design but I would almost bet there will be recalls and lawsuits due to the flaws. The picture is after watching 3 times and it still has little pieces of mental shavings
Two of the cups were removable for some reason and popped out. The label was glued on and the glue will not come off no matter how much I scrub or scrape. I cut my hand on one of the edges while trying to scrub off the glue. I got this from a delivery order, I definitely would not have chosen to buy this crap in the store.
I ordered 3 muffin tins pans online, and received only 2. One was damaged with a ding in one of the muffin cups. I photographed it but the photo of the damaged wouldn't post. Not only must I return or exchange it at the store, but now I must but my 3rd or even 4th pan(s) which is an inconvenience for me. If I wanted to visit the store, I wouldn't have bought it online and had it delivered. Very disappointing.
