WE are at a place in our lives where we simply DO NOT purchase any other coffee but this one. It is smooth, fragrant, perfect in strength, and easy for us to add 1/2 %26 1/2 and whip it up with our frother so that we enjoy an almost perfect latte at home. We are VERY VERY happy with Melitta's coffee.
I know a lot of coffee drinkers are dedicated to their particular brand. As was I. My original reason for my first purchase was the lower cost. It arrived, and I could not be more pleased with a coffee. For the first time I actually found coffee that I could tell a noticeable difference in its quality and flavor. I highly recommend this coffee. You will not be disappointed. And no I am not an employee or shareholder.
A bit stronger compared to the regular Melitta coffee but not overpowering The grind of the coffee is finer than most other coffee brands but I always use the filter and drip style coffee maker. Did not notice this coffee is not bitter at all. Just very smooth.
Melitta Colombian coffee is farrr above 5 stars or any other brand I've tried for true, enjoyable COFFEE taste. Walmart/Melitta (?) has held the price constant for us for several years and while I thought I would have to give coffee up completely, Melitta saved me. Admittedly, it costs more than I ever thought I'd be spending for coffee ( I do have to stretch too buy it) but Melitta has not watered down its taste with filler additives that smell like peanut shells, or taste more like tea than coffee.
Start every day with Melitta coffee. Recommended it to many friends who go to my church. I serve Melitta coffee at my Church first weekend of most months during our Welcome coffee for all parishioners attending Mass. Nothing but rave reviews! Keep up the good work and affordable pricing.! Mr. A.
I drank Melitta coffee for almost 10 years back in the 80's when I was based in Athens, Greece. It's German by Melitta Brentz in 1908. With her coffee came the Melitta coffee filters too. Melitta was coffee in between all the awesome European coffee like Dowe Egberts, Carte Noire, Jacobs Kronung and the traditional Greek and Turkish coffee. I do like the Colombian flavor from Melitta and these, the price is definitely right! Enjoy! Enjoy!!
With prices of everything going up I have to be a more budget friendly shopper. For the price and size, I decided to give this coffee a try. I was not disappointed! It's nice and smooth, full bodied and quite satisying. I use liquid creamer and sugar in my coffee and this makes a perfect cup for my taste! The aroma isn't as strong as others but the taste is wonderful and that's all I need. I will make this a regular purchase.
i have never tried melita before and am quite pleased with it while it isnt fine gourmet coffee it is fine every day coffee for a great price. it is not a regular grind it is a fine grind so i was a little hesitant to put it in the drip coffee maker but it made no difference at all so i would recommend melitta for the daily grind wake up
I started ordering this brand of coffee when Maxwell House and the others went too greedy with their prices. This is a little bit weaker than the Maxwell House equivalent, but it is half the price and I drink a lot of coffee, so I am happy with this and will continue to order it as long as the price stays like it is.
Great price. I've always used Melitta filters so wanted to give their coffee a try. It's a very fine grind. When using it w my Cuisinart coffee maker, it overflowed......so I had tons of coffee grounds in my coffee and everywhere. Otherwise, the taste is mild. Way too mild for me, but it certainly is smooth. I am going to try and mix it with some other coffee grounds I have to see if I can at least use the can up and not just throw it away.
