I am soooo happy to have tried this. I have sensitive skin with a few little dry eczema areas and this takes all my makeup off and has calmed down my skin. At first I wanted to wash it off but I stopped that and discovered it made my skin tone really nice and even and so soft. No breakouts or bumps. Im going to horde this stuff. Cleanser and water were the irritating culprits. Now my skin is really nice :)
I love these! At night I am frequently too tired to wash my face well. These work beautifully! Question-what is the difference between night towelettes and packages not labeled night towelettes. The ingredients look the same but the smell is distinctly different.
I have used these wipes for as long as they have been on the market. The last package I bought is a totally different formula. Itchy, runny, burning eyes! The smell lingers on my face and it is bad! It makes me so crazy I have to wash my face and neck and change my shirt. I am sad to hear that it wasn't just a bad batch but that others were having the same experience. The ones with the new packaging seem to be the culprit. Please note this. I called as well.
My skin haven't been irritated by any skincare product before. I like Neutrogena, but this wipes burned my face, and turned my face red. So be careful with this product.
I have used Neutrogena hydrating makeup remover wipes for years. Just purchased these compostable wipes and they are terrible. Not only are they dry and scratchy, but after using them for less than a week my skin is red and irritated and I now have break-outs. Will not be purchasing them again.
I just started using these and I love how they work! They are soft and smell great also. After the first use I noticed my face turned red and felt very tight, but I kept using them and did not think much of it at the time. This morning I have a painful, swollen eye and my face is red and burning. I have not used anything else new besides these wipes. I have never had sensitive skin so I am surprised by this! I am a bit concerned about my eye as well!
I have extremely sensitive skin that is still acne prone, and wanted to find an easier way to remove my makeup daily. I have been using Neutrogena products for my troublesome skin since High School (I'm 30 now), and never before had a problem. However, each time I tried these, I had a full on allergic reaction. My face flushed red, my skin itched and became flaky, and it kicked off a minor asthmatic reaction. I wound up having to take an immediate shower to eradicate any left over residue. At first I thought it was something else in my cleaning routine, until I ruled this product out as the culprit. I was further saddened to read the label of something which states it is "Allergy Tested," "Gentle," and tested by professionals only to discover that "fragrance" is included in the list of ingredients. Please don't label something as "allergy tested" or "gentle" if it contains fragrance! That's false advertising. I will be returning to my old all-natural olive oil routine of makeup removal and looking for another brand entirely for my makeup wipes.
I have never had a problem with skin sensitivity before, but these wipes leave my face red, blotchy, and burning. I also have normal/combination skin, but after using these wipes my face is left really dry in some places, and extremely oily in others. I use many other Neutrogena products, and I love them all. These wipes, however, have really unimpressed me. I wouldn't buy them again ):
have used these wipes for so long and suddenly they irritated my eyes and I have little bumos all over my eyelids and scaly skin near my nose
I Bought the Neutrogena makeup remover cloths and wipes. After using them I got a lump under my right eye. I went to the optometrist. I had to have eye surgery to remove the puss in that eye. Your wipes contain an oil based in them Because of this I had surgery. I couldn't do anything nor go anywhere I had stitches. It was very painful to say the least. I want to be compensated by your company for the pain that I went through with this. I do have an attorney, If I need to use him I definitely will, because your product caused this. I want to know what will u do now to help a customer
