Twenty five years in storage, the hand knitted baby sweaters had many stains that had caramelized over the years. I feared it was a lost cause, but OxiClean proved me wrong. I used a healthy amount of the product in the bath tub of cool water and let the garments soak for a solid eight hours. This morning, I washed them on delicate cycle with another dose of the OxiClean. I just laid out the sweaters to block and you would think they were brand new. My granddaughter will look beautiful in the same sweater sets her mama wore. I am over the moon!
My daughter had severe reflux and we used this product on all her stained baby clothes. I recommend filling a large storage tote with hot water and putting two large scoops of powder in, letting the clothes to soak 6-8 hrs. Stir clothes every so often in mixture. Afterwards, ring and put in washer!
Ok, so I know I'm destroying my washing machine but I put some of this Oxi Clean powder and some dawn dish soap at the bottom of my washer tub. Then I put all the baby clothes (which I don't even pre-soak or rinse) on top and run a cycle with hot water. The clothes come out soooo much better than I put them in as! Most times I can't even tell where the stain was! And this is also considering sometimes stains will sit on the clothes for 4 days before daycare gives them back and I wash them. I love the normal Oxi Clean powder for all my work clothes and now I love this on my babies clothes as well!
Great product! It got all the major stains from blowouts out of my little one’s clothes. I’ve used it as a soak method as well as directly in the wash. Had the same effect both ways. My LO hasn’t had any issues with it but she also doesn’t have sensitive skin.
I've tried other baby stain removers and this one is the best by far. I soak the stain overnight and it's gone by morning. It hasn't faded any colors.
My little one ruined so many outfits with blowouts. This even removed the old stains from months before that didn't come out in the normal wash or with other products! I saw they were discontinuing the product so I'll be stocking up!
OxiClean Baby Stain Remover. An option that removes stains and leaves clothes smelling fresh and clean. It's what I've been using for laundry for a while now. No fabric softener required.
Good product, but I had an issue with the packaging. I actually ordered two of these from two different walmarts and neither one of them are sealed shut, so this is probably how it comes. I don't like the fact that there isn't any seal that makes it so you CAN'T take the lid off before purchase, and once the lids off there isn't a seal there either. So basically you take the lid off and the product is right there. This makes it so you don't know if it's been used/returned because you can't tell if it's been opened or not. I also worry about contaminats..like people opening it and touching it or something. I use it to make nontoxic homemade laundry detergent and it works great, I just wish it had better packaging!
With son number one i saved all of his baby clothes. Now 3 years later im pregnant with son number 2. I pulled out all the hand me downs to discover yellow spit up stains on a lot of the necks that were not there when i packed them away. I treid a few things to get them out and nothing helped. Oxibaby took it right out. My only complaint is now the clothing feels stiff. Even with wasking on an extra rinse cycle.
I was a little surprised that there is no plastic wrap surrounding the top opening, nor any type of pull tab. The tub is easily accessed by lifting the top. I mention this because the container was half full but I contacted the manufacturer and they advised this is how they fill the container and the quantity (weight) is correct. I used this product for the first time today and it removed the majority of the stain but you can still see (after my gently scrubbing) remnants/shadow of the stain.
