We bought this as a gift for my nephew so he can make forts in the woods. While we haven't used this rope yet for the forts, I have used the same kind of rope on my boat. it has done a good job, and is easy to tie knots with.

I bought this to use for my grandons pinata. Since it was cheaper than the actual pinata rope. Worked perfect will use for other stuff as well. Vey Sturdy for the price.

Will use in backyard and string tree to tree to use as clothesline occasionally. Seems pretty sturdy so far.

The rope is light and woven with thin strands of plastic fiber. I did not test for its tensile strength and therefore cannot comment on that but the thin plastic fiber frays quite easily, and not only at its cut ends. However, Its price is among the cheapest 1/4" rope. This rope may therefore work well if its used for an application where high strength and durability are not imperative, eg to hold up a tent for a week's stay in a nice campground but not on an expedition to assail a windswept mountain.
