I like that these Castelvetrano olives are cheaper than the Walmart branded ones surprisingly and taste just fine. They have the firmness I like in the Castelvetrano olive. I use them on frozen pizzas or flatbread/naan pizzas I make fresh. They are really good on a salad paired with a good ranch dressing. I often make a Greek salad with them in place of the Kalamata olives (feta, cucumber, tomato, sweet onion, and olives). The size of the jar is nice for several servings, but its not too big so you always keep the supply fresh.
By far the best olives they sell at Walmart. Great for charcutier boards (serve with Toasted specialty cracker, brie cheese, prosciutto, a dollop of honey mustard and topped with a whole or half a Castelvetrano Pitted Italian Olive... simply delicious!)
Great product for snacking though I originally bought them to include in Spanish-style rice dishes or for Greek salads (instead of Kalamata olives). Not too salty. Packaged well. Jar fits on my fridge door so easy to store (fridge once opened). Well-priced. Will buy again for convenience, price, ease of use.
Great snacking olives and also good as a fancy party condiment. Just as good as most you get from fancy olive bars, maybe a little less buttery flavor but nice olives regardless. Fairly firm and crunchy with that unique smooth castelvetrano green olive taste. Nice that they're pitted as well.
Great quality and flavor. a bit pricey but its not an olive I'd buy as often as i do black or regular green olives. they are great for holidays, a salad or charcuterie. Not salty really. best way i can describe the flavor is a black olive. love the color too!
To whoever likes plain (not stuffed) olives I recommend these. My favorite treats since I was a kid, I think this brand is one of the best as far as texture and natural taste I've tried. There are less expensive ones but I'll try to order more when I run out,
These are absolutely delicious. I bought them to put on a homemade pizza which I haven't made yet. I have been eating them straight out of the jar. Maybe best olives I've ever had. Not that I'm an olive connoisseur, but I'm just saying these are yummy and they are also a product of Italy. I will definitely buy again. Makes a very good snack. They are firm to the Touch and have a bite to them. So good.
I have been on an olive kick lately with this weight-loss journey. Great flavor and not soft and soggy.
We love Castelvetrano Pitted Italian Olives. We have tried other brands, but this seems to be the best value, Very satisfied.
Recipe called for this particular olive. Quite a bit more expensive. I must not be an olive connoisseur, because regular green olives would work just as well.
