(3 pack) Pen+Gear 3 x 5 in Index Card Box, Clear Polypropylene Desktop Storage Organizer

i dont use this for recipes. I call it my BRAIN BOX, because i have soooo many online consumer accts demanding user names, passwords, codes etc, i was always getting locked out of MY ACCTS because i couldn't complete the ID verification process . So this box, coupled with alphabetized spacer cards and idex cards =MY BRAIN BOX. It truly helps. yes id love a gorgeous wooden recipe box to hold all my info , but im broke. All i care about is my info, phone%23s addresses etc. So the cost of the entire deal was acceptable .

I have to keep track of all my clients passwords for the different software and this box has just the right amount of space to do that. It's not too big and easy to store it for safety.

Fits about four sets of 3x5 index cards.

I needed a new recipe box. this one is perfect. great quality for the price

I know this is just a cheap little file box but gosh you would expect it to do its job. It was very difficult for me to get it to latch but as I really needed it I decided to keep it. big mistake because I just picked it up the latch fail and now I have hundreds of pieces of paper all over the floor that I have to re-sort. Save your money and get something else for sure!

OVERPRICED piece of cheap plastic junk. It is not worth more than $1 to $1.50 MAX, but the local Dollar Tree didn't have them in stock.

I ordered two of these index card boxes online, so I wasn't able to test them in the store first - they seem great at first until you try to close or open them. The issue is the clasp area is horribly designed. It is wayyyy too hard to snap shut and then almost impossible to open if you ever do get it shut. I ended up tearing/cutting off the lids because they were such a pain.
