Cute variety of poster boards with a metallic finish. Not so great for regular markers-use sharpies.

I wish I could have given this pack five stars, but my one beef with these post boards is that the package says you can use markers on them--but don't!! Permanent markers are fine; they won't smudge. But DON'T use regular old markers on either side of these boards--they will smear to all heck on the metallic side and even on the backside they smudged some after I thought it had dried. So just stick to permanent markers, please! Other than that, these are great! Since both kids are doing school from home, I figured it would be a way to spice up some of their work a little bit. White glue worked just fine on the front side, and our daughter's teacher loved her project. Excessive paint makes it warp, of course, as does excessive glue, but I had no problems with the paints I used. Tempera split just a bit on it in some places, but acrylics were great. And, of course, there is no problem with cutting things out of them. These feel just like regular poster boards. And you don't have to use them all at once--the package they come is is resealable, as long as you don't rip it open, so it's easy to just keep them in the original package and get out what you need when you need it. I can see these being great for smaller projects or doing up a sign for something--announcing something at work or writing happy birthday. These poster boards are a good size; bigger than regular paper but a whole lot more manageable than normal poster boards. Be aware, however, that the five different colors are five different sizes--silver is the smallest at 11 x 14" and green is the largest at 12 x 14". So it's only a quarter inch difference between each one, but it caught me by surprise a bit. (Gold is 11.25 x 14", red is 11.5 x 14", and blue is 11.75 x 14".) Overall, these are fun and very useful, and the kids and I are very much enjoying using them.

Very thick difficult to cut with scissors but very reflextive

The colors are correct but the sheets all came cut in different sizes. I was expecting them to ALL be one size. The description measurements need to reflect this information. Because of this I'm giving this item 2 stars.
