I love the fact that I can make notes on pages without covering text. It was the main reason I chose these. These are especially useful if you want to resell your books but need to make notations.

This is such a great post it idea! Being able to stick this over print and write on it is genius!!! A lifesaver for this homeschool mom!

I saw the video by @thewelltarot about these notes, ( https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOSBEmJD5nw/?igsh=anRpdDRlam05MG9z ) and it's genuinely changed my thought process. A pencil and some of these buddies, that's really all it takes to write down all those crazy ideas or even just your todo list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SUPER excited to try these out when 3M offered them in exchange for a review. I love Post-it notes, and use them all the time for leaving notes and taking notes when I don't want to mark up on the actual book. The transparency is super fun, you can see details and I love the texture of the "paper" they've used (I think it's a vellum style paper) but if you're using light color pens or a wetter gel type you'll have a rough time reading it with all the words behind it. Sharpie was obviously the most clean and easy to read. Below you'll see my little experiment, I did a finger smudge test at 5 second, 30 seconds and 1 minute with all my usual pens at my desk : Felt tip, gel ball, fancy glitter gel, sharpie and a standard bic ballpoint pen. I also did a "control" on the yellow classic post-its so you can see the comparison in paper type I would say overall the sharpie and bic ball point held up the best through all time stops. Felt tip and gel ball pens (my normal planner pens) came in second, they need more time to dry but held up pretty good starting at the 30 second mark. I DO NOT recommend using fancy "wetter" gel pens (these are a glitter gel) it's just too wet of an ink that needs to soak into a real paper. Actually the glitter gel was what started the whole experiment. I jotted down a note to add to my journal and didn't even think about it smudging as I put it on the page. After the lesson learned, I still really like these for taking notes in books and using them as labels on things I don't want a bright yellow square on. OH and the adhesive is AMAZING! it's a thicker band, which makes them lie flatter (HUGE PLUS) and it's sticky without risky damage. It definitely has it's place in my desk drawer and I will be buying more, I just have to remind myself to chill on the glitter pens LOL
