Bought it for school locker for my daughter's first year of high school. Can't beat the price. Other locks start at $5 . I'm sure it's probably not the safest of locks but what lock is? All locks are defeatable if a crook really wants in. So for the price and what it does, I'm super happy to find this cheap lock.

If you are looking for an inexpensive padlock that has a combination dial, then you can't really beat this one for the price. You'll either want to take the sticker off the back with the preset combo, or read the instructions to set your own combination. My husband needed a lock for the gym and this one works perfectly for his needs.

Can't beat the price but it does feel a bit lightweight for a lock. A little concerned about it's ability to keep items safe but good for a gym locker.

It's very cheap and extremely light. It works, but it feels like it would break easily. Considering its price, I'd give it a passing grade. If you're only going to use it a few times, then it's fine.

It's a very inexpensive lock to basically serve as a deterrent. The locker it secures is not very exposed, the stored items are not very valuable. Good enough for that. Two things I find somewhat concerning: 1. There is a sticker on the back, slightly recessed, with the combination and it's proving very difficult to remove. Let's hope no one thinks to look there. 2. On the bottom is a sticker with a Warning for California Consumers: “This product can expose you to chemicals including chromium (hexavalent compounds) which are known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

The lock does not work. The numbers provided for the combo does not work. The instructions for resetting the combo does not work. You get what you pay for this is a cheap item and it is simple as it doesn't work. I would not buy again. I would not recommend anyone to buy this item.

The lock didn't work. I used it and locked up my storage space. The combination didn't work so I ended up having to cut the lock. I do not recommend

Bought lock so that I could go to gym. Wouldn't unlock even after having someone else attempt to unlock it. Had to buy over preiced lock at the gym. Extremely annoying and a complete waste of time and gas picking this thing up.

The three digit code with instructions is placed on the back of the lock, on a sticker. Now obviously this can't stay on, or it would defeat the purpose. The sticker does not come off easily. I had to wet the back of the lock and use a razor, just to get that sticker off. Need a better option to provide the code.

Lock worked ok for opening and closing. I found out after my gym locker was robbed that it is about a 3 minute lesson to learn how to pick the lock. Cost me about $300 in cash and fixing issues with multiple credit cards. Guess I will need to decide if I should leave my wallet in my car to be robbed, or in the locker (with a better lock).
