This is a good source of protein and has more fiber than the other oats flavors. And, while I do like the other flavors, I chose this one to supplement my daily protein intake. As I get older I realize the importance of protein to maintain muscle mass and I know that my diet does not always include enough. I am purposely finding foods with added sources of the nutrients that my body needs to function in years to come. While I may prefer the more processed and sugary versions of foods; they are causing health issues and I am on a journey to take care of my own health by mindfully researching foods and nutrients, paying attention to my body, and selecting healthier versions of foods that I eat.
Here is a quick start to your morning just pop it in the microwave and it's done and it tastes great and really packs a punch when it comes to protein don't take my word for it try it for yourself you will love it..
A great way to start your day is with a good warm breakfast. This oatmeal is great. It's got the protein you need. The taste is awesome too. I highly recommend it.
This is the best Quaker oatmeal out there. Even if you don't like cranberries or don't like almonds, it's still tastes great. It's a light flavor and I can add any fruits or seeds to it and taste all of the flavors. Maybe it's because of the protein powder or something but these packets seem to have a little more in them than just the regular oatmeals
Finally oatmeal with protein makes you feel like you're doing something good for breakfast. The taste is different. You have to get used to it but it's worth the quick protein.
i love this stuff...pop it microwave (mine is minute half) let it sitfor a bit....ENJOY I'm not an early bird breakfast person but when you feel that twitch in your tummy..this is PERFECT!
I have bought this Protein instant oatmeal for many years. However I guess with the state of United States and World! THE COMPANY CHANGED THE INGREDIENTS FOR PRODUCTS. IT DOES NOT TASTE THE SAME.... OATS ARE HARD AND CHEWY. I HAVE STOPPED BUYING THEM NOW. CHECK YOUR INGREDIENTS. SENIORS ARE LIVING LONGER AND HELPING FAMILIES WITH KIDS. HELP US BE HEALTHY. PLEASE
Just tried for the first time, and it was awful on its own. The packet measuring method is terrible, it came out way too watery..so I had to add some quick oats I had, which worked out because it added some texture. The almonds are pretty non-existent. Altogether flavorless, even with the obvious vanilla protein powder added in. Didn't taste sweet at all. I ended up adding the extra oats, some brown sugar, and some pecans...and then it was good. You're just as well off using your favorite oatmeal and adding your favorite protein powder to it
I love many of the regular types of Quaker oatmeal and many other oatmeal brands too. This was my first time trying protein oatmeal. There were hardly any cranberries and I couldn't discern any traces of almonds at all. Instead it only tasted of overly artificial vanilla whey powder. Yes, I know it has increased protein so I know they have to get it in there somehow, but I wanted more cranberry and almond flavor, that's why I bought this one. I can add my own protein powder to my preferred brands. Will not be buying this again. It's not worth the strongly artificial, cloying vanilla taste.
box was damaged and it was put in bag with fabric sheets, very unprofessional, i had to go to the store myself. not happy at all
