The other reviewers are not using it correctly! First, using the pen make a decent sized dot on your skin, and immediately afterwards dip your fingertip on the fresh ink and "stamp it" by tapping in a dot dot dot pattern near by until you have many light colored natural looking freckles. One "stamp" should go a far way, a single dot of ink can be made into several freckles... just don't wait til it's dry or else it doesn't work. I have pale / porcelain skin naturally when I don't use sunless tanner, and this looks SUPER natural on me! note: it has to be done with clean fingertips on clean skin, you CAN do it over foundation but I'd recommend under your makeup first, then do a few touch ups if needed afterwards (using the same method) . Imagine it almost like a stamp, if that makes sense? Good luck :D

this is awesome… but fair warning it really sticks. you cannot easily rub this off.

It seems like a good dupe for the more expensive freck. It is a little dark for my fair skin.

I like this little Freckle Pen! I don't use it to necessarily do the “fake freckle” look because I'm not good at that! LOL. But I do like to use it to darken and enhance my freckles and beauty marks that I do already have on my face to make them stand out more after I do my makeup! It lasts all the way up until I take my makeup off as well. Really can't complain. It works really well and I would definitely buy it again! I have tried a few of the products from Relove at Walmart and I have really enjoyed everything I've tried so far! LOVE seeing some of Makeup Revolution finally coming into Walmart!

I combine this and white pencil so I have eyebrows close to my hair color

As someone with medium not dark freckles I do not recommend this product unless you put them under a foundation, it's very dark almost like an eyeliner pen and I've tried it multiple times over makeup and it doesn't budge but it looks like I've gotten sprayed by mud, I try to lighten it by taping it or using a beauty sponge but it does nothing. If you have really dark freckles then I'm sure this would work for you but as someone with very fair skin it's a no from me.

This "freckle" pen is a glorified brown eyeliner. Once on there's no way to tamp it down to look even remotely natural. It also isn't sweat or water proof so a definite no go for summer. It gets worse though. It caused breakouts all along my cheeks. good thing it was cheap.
