I’ve recently switched to gluten free and out of the ones out there Schar bread is really good. I can’t eat regular bread anymore and it’s tough B/C I love bread. For me it’s the one gf bread I go to now when I want toast, or a sandwich. It tastes really good..

I've been gluten-free for twenty years and this is my favorite sandwich bread. I like the fiber from the seeds and whole grains, the consistent loaf size and top quality of Schaar bread (no unusable slices due to air bubbles), plus I like the taste.

Most gluten-free bread is either awful tasting or has zero nutritional value. This one taste delicious, especially when toasted, it’s a decent size piece of bread unlike some loaves that are tiny, and it has fiber and protein. I found the best price on Walmart and will continue to buy it there as long as the price is competitively good.

I basically dislike gluten free bread, to the point that I pepper and put enough raw garlic on my sandwiches to overpower all that "earthy" flavor. I also have disliked every whole grain and seed bread Ive ever tried, gluten free or not, UNTIL this one. I usually get Canyon Bakehouse brand, but all the loaves at the store had all been crushed, so I just grabbed this kind because it was on sale. Glad I did. This is BY FAR the best gluten free store bought sandwich bread I have ever tried. The texture is absolutely perfect and the flavor, while not great, isnt bad, and most importantly, doesnt give that weird "nearly bread but somehow wrong uncanny valley" experience.

I have a gluten intolerance I've been purchasing this bread for the past 3 yrs it taste's pretty good I use it to make toast and sandwiches the texture of the bread isn't soft as regular bread it's a stiff consistency. It's also smaller then regular bread but it does me just fine.

Absolutely dislike the taste. It's soft, yes and nicely packed; looks like a good quality product. the price is high for the "enjoyment" I get from this bread. I would not buy it again. I also was expecting some seeds, or something extra in each slice.

One star less for the size (bought online). The taste surprised though and it made wonderful chicken salad sandwiches. Whenever you get a heavy bread, try Swiss cheese or another strong cheese to find the value of a good strong bread like this to appreciate its full flavor profile.

CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES! I ordered 2 loaves online %26 they gave me 1 that was a month past it's expiration date %26 the other 2 months past it's expiration date. I ate 3 slices before I realized it was that fast past expiration and had a very bad afternoon. It wasn't moldy, didn't look bad, %26 only smelled a little different but I'd never tried it before so I thought the smell might be normal. Generously giving it 3 stars because if it hadn't been old, it might be very good!

The problem isn't this bread, it's Walmart consistently delivering expired loaves. Always look at the white date tab and the stamped date on the clear inner package seam. Half the time I have to send it back. This brand bread is great tasting, perfect texture and holds up when it's fresh.

This is a good bread. One of the best gluten free breads sold. However, Walmart continues to sell/deliver to me old, stale and past the expiration date breads! Unacceptable to sell past dated foods. Buy elsewhere.
