One of my new favorite brand of can fish. The fish are packed in olive oil, and the fish juice, which I never drain if they are tasty. The fish taste fresh, with a good texture to them, great on: crackers, baguette, creamed cheese. In the last month, I have purchased can fish, at least 12 times. This brand 5- Have not been disappointed. Would definitely promote for purchase. Enjoy!! I do.
Review Title: Great value and sustainable choice Review: While food prices continue to rise, these sardines remain an excellent value. They are one of the safest fish options to eat, and I appreciate that they are produced sustainably. A delicious, healthy, and high-protein staple that I highly recommend.
These are the best Flavor sardines I ever had
Makes a tasty sandwich with mustard or just plain bread. It doesn't look like sardines when you open the can- just looks like chunks of tuna but more flavorful.
I like sardines packed in olive oil; I think this enhances their flavor and makes for less fishy-ness. These sardines are absolutely exquisite in my opinion-- sans bones and skin. I like to mash them and add a smallish dollop of mayo and top water crackers with them-- a tasty treat indeed. The only downside is that a 1 can serving is a little high in sodium. So bear this in mind if you have high blood pressure.
I grew up munching on Sardines, now for 45 yrs. Grew up in New Orleans. I know quality fish products. This brand is the absolute best. Great taste, High quality with obvious consistent quality control and my preference to Sardines in Olive Oil. Both of those 2 ingredients are extremely healthy. This product is Always fresh. Never any issues with these sardines having bones or skin lingering, as I prefer it this way. Always clean and packed perfectly every time. I highly recommend.
I did not like the cost of these items. People are price gouging on walmart.com. I don't like that they are not always available. They are very tasty.
I am disappointed that these have bones. I had put hot sauce on them and took a bite, full of bones, not just a few, that i could live with. I am very disappointed as i just bought 8, yes 8 boxes of these! hoping they don't all have bones. will update.
I was buying these for protein and because they are pretty good. Well the price has tripled within a week. I was purchasing them for $2.82 a can. I wanted to restock for the month and now the price is $6.15 a can. You must be ill to think raising the price that much is okay. This company is price gouging and that is not okay. And for that I will no longer spend my money with this company.
This is not the brand I ordered
