Still tastes great, just not as sickeningly sweet as regular jam or preserves. You can really taste the strawberries and not just the sugar. This has been or family's go-to for years. I don't think i could go back to fully sweetened jam or preserves now.
I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and it's not easy to find a jelly that's not too sweet and also fruity this has the perfect balance for me it has just enough sweetness and lots of fruity strawberry fruit flavor so my pb%26j's are awesome recommend and I stocked up on these because they're my go-to when I'm running around and hungry and want something satisfying and healthy in my opinion
I am type 2 diabetic so I like this strawberry spread because it contains a little less than half the added sugar compared to normal strawberry spread. It has a great taste, has a wonderful texture, and a squeeze bottle so no struggle getting the last portion out of a jar. It is a little more expensive than the regular strawberry spreads but it is worth it. I use it several times a week because there is something about a peanut butter sandwich with strawberry spread to highlight the day.
Firstly, I try to only buy low- or no-sugar foods, and the fact that an innovative product is available in a lower-sugar variety is AMAZING. That's usually not the case. Secondly, as someone who grew up with traditional jars of jelly, I feel like this is magic lol. With the slot opening, I can squeeze out perfect ribbons of jelly. The efficiency, ease, and level of control this gives versus jelly in a jar is life-changing haha. This is so easy that I actually look forward to making a PB
My doctor has me watching my sugar intake so when I found this it was a lifesaver! I think it tastes more like actual strawberries and it doesn't have artificial sweeteners to compensate like most reduced sugar foods. I'm allergic to artificial sweeteners and they're hidden in so many foods now. I love being able to have a pb%26j for lunch again.
It's absolutely wonderful. It's really really good with yogurt and banana and then you put the strawberry jam in there for a flavor. It's really good come up here you can come up come on. You can do it. You can do it. Come on. Come on come on mocha see you can do it. You're just a big wimp. It's a big wimpy.
I tried this product for the first time today and I loved it! It isn't as sweet as other jellies or spreads since it has reduced sugar. Also, it doesn't contain High Fructose Corn Syrup or artificial sweeteners. Just water, sugar, strawberries and a few preservatives. Use this with Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter to make a great sandwich!
Since I have been directed to watch my sugar intake, I gave this a try. Glad I did. Tastes great and without the artificial sugar taste one sometimes gets with sugar free items. The strawberry really comes through, in fact I think more so than the regular version. Great on toast or an english muffin or with peanut butter sandwich.
we've added this to our subscription every two weeks to come. all of the family enjoys the flavor. we recommended it to other family members. one of them has diabetes and this works real well with his numbers
This is the second time I have purchased this product. The first was great, no issues. This time it seems as the formula may have changed? Product does .not easily squeeze from container and has an odd taste.
