I didn't think they were working but boy did I realize they helped my knees when I stopped using them! It takes quite a bit of time for this to help but it happens gradually and you really don't notice unless you stop. There have been no side effects. They are quite large and I take two pills each day. So if you have trouble swallowing pills these might be tough. But they definitely help my joints.
The "Structural Glue" My Skin and Joints Were Hunting For I just started taking this Spring Valley Glucosamine/Chondroitin a few days ago, and I am already seeing a massive mechanical difference. I'm 62 and pretty active, and while I don't have "horrible" joint pain, I've struggled with a persistent stiffness in my jaw and around my brow area for years. Why I'm giving it a thumbs up: The "Hinge" Release: In less than a week, my jaw moved from "stiff" to "completely relaxed." It feels like I've finally greased the hinges of my face. The Moisture Lock: This product seems to actually "hold the water" in the connective tissue. My skin along my temples and brow is starting to feel "paper-thin" and flat—like it's finally shrink-wrapping back to the bone instead of looking puffy or stagnant. The Price: You can't beat the value. It's an affordable way to maintain structural integrity without overcomplicating things. Pro-Tip: I've been taking mine with warm Hibiscus and Ginger tea. The Vitamin C seems to "ignite" the product and help it weld to the tissue exactly where I need it. If you feel like your frame is getting a little "static" or stuck, this is a great, simple way to get things moving again. Highly recommend!
I have been taking Glucosamine Chondroitin for probably 20 years. I have problems with my joints...........knees, elbows, hips, hands....you name it. When I am taking this, it helps all of my joints feel much better. I have less pain which improves my freedom of movement. I have had a couple of times over the past 10 years or so where I ran out while traveling or for various other reasons and if I don't take it for a few weeks, I start to get hip, knee and joint pain. I start taking it again and when I take it for a few weeks, I start to feel much better. My son was also having issues with his knees and ankles (we're both ex-Military guys and we are pretty worn out and beat up), and I bought him a couple of bottles of this and he said it made his joint pain less painful as well. I have been using Spring Valley for about 10 years now and find that it works very well, and is also more cost efficient than some of the other brands. I highly recommend this if you suffer from joint pain and I will continue to use this product.
Starting taking these for knee pain after increased activity with fitness. Although I'm only 37 these have improved joint mobility flexibility, I notice less knee cracks when lifting heavy on the leg press, barbell squats, or intense cardio on the stair master. I started with taking 1x a day to see how my body would react and now on month 3, I'm consistently taking 2 tablets a day and drinking lots of water. Great value for the $ and I recently learned you can also buy them with your FSA/HSA funds
I have used this for years, it really seems to help my arthritis. I get OTC benefits from my insurance so I switched to their Pharmacy brand because I didn't have to pay for it out-of-pocket. After a while I started hurting all over. It had been a while since I switched so I didn't think about the change in the supplement brand. I switched back to Spring Valley glucosamine chondroitin and I feel much, much better. Not switching again!
I've had both hips and my knee replaced because of my arthritis and I use these pills to help with my joints, My sister first told me about them years ago so I decided to try them , I didn't think they were really doing anything to make a difference, then I ran out of them so didn't take them for a few days, that's when I noticed the difference, they really were helping with the ROM and pain for me, now I always make sure I have them
Many years ago I was complaining to my son about my achey knees. He asked me if I was taking anything for the pain. I said no. He suggest I do some research and the results lead me to G and C. Now if I run out and miss a couple of days I feel right away those old achey knees are back with a vengeance.
I am in my 60s and am very active. Treadmill, spinning, Pilates. I do my own yard work and house work. I've taken this glucosamine for years and as long as I take it consistently I do not have aches or pains. I know it's a difference if I don't take it for a few days.
I've been using Spring valley triple strength glucosamine chondroitin for many years. every time I'd try a slightly different product with a different additive I'd go back to this one. very effective for me, and very cost effective as well. grateful that it's there!
It's labeled as triple strength but still recommend taking two huge pills per day. It's a small bottle with only 40 in the bottle, not even one month supply for one person. They do offer other options for larger bottles with more pills. The value would come from the larger quantity, brings the cost from 22 to 8 cents per pill. I think this offer was a waste, I may consider the bigger bottle next time, so there is enough to decide if it's working or not.
