This may seem odd, but I put a small amount my hottest tap water (1/2 cup 1cup) in cup, add sugar and about 2 heaping tsp’s this instant coffee. I add about 6 oz cold vegan milk I usually use unsweetened oat, if not I unsweetened almond). I put it in microwave - 3 minutes in mine to get it hot. Tastes better to me than the coffee at Starbucks %26 I get a much bigger cup of coffee. Way cheaper and to my mind tastier - and more customizable than the cafe. I have organic powdered vanilla in my spice rack as my dearest friend loves this coffee with a hit of vanilla - you could use vanilla plant milk if you have other uses for it . I don’t- just coffee when she visits
This is the best instant coffee that we have ever tried. Taster's Choice instant was our favorite until we tried Starbucks version. One teaspoon per 6oz of water. We double it as we consume one large cup every morning. It's rich, smooth, has great aroma and great flavor. They have a dark grind as well with hints of chocolate and it's just as delicious. Thank you.
Wife says: I started drinking this when I was recovering from a month long hospitalization. I was too weak to get up and make regular coffee. I was thrilled to discover Starbucks made an instant! I'm an all day/evening coffee drinker (it doesn't affect my sleep) I have drip in the a.m. and drink this in the evenings.
How should I rate this coffee? Is this among the best brews I've ever tasted, or is it simply among the best instant coffees I've discovered? A lot of difference there. For over thirty years I've lived in the Kona District of Hawai'i Island. I've been privileged to have for daily coffee a Kona farming family's Special Roast. What a rare gift that was! Starbucks Premium Dark Roast Instant Coffee is not on the same level. No instant coffee could be. But, for instant coffees, this Starbucks is pretty darn good -- good enough that I am well-pleased to have discovered it, well-pleased to drink two or three cups of it every day, well-pleased to purchase three of the cans per month, enjoy its robust dark flavor, wafting fragrance, deep amber hue. So, therefore, I recommend Starbucks Dark Roast without reserve.
I like using instant coffee because it lets me make my coffee as strong or weak as I want. The price has gone up dramatically so I will start looking other places to buy. Walmart Corp can afford to sell for less but I guess Alice Walton just isn’t satisfied with being the richest woman in the USA. Her $100 Billion net worth just isn’t rich enough.
I am not accustomed to drinking Starbucks so I am not familiar with the taste of their cream/sugar coffee. Since this is instant coffee, am not sure how it measures to instore brew which I will try next time I am near a Starbucks. I may not be measuring the instant coffee correctly. Today is day 2. Tomorrow I will try heaping the measuring spoon w/coffee in a larger cup 2 C if that will make a difference in taste. I do know it is bitter without cream %26 sugar. I generally drink only 2 oz of coffee "dressed" each day but instead of regular cream, add a flavored cream.
I love most of the Starbucks instant coffees, (except the flavored chocolate/vanilla ones,) but I didn’t like this variety. It’s purely a matter of taste, because I’ve always preferred a richer darker roast. This one was too weak tasting for me. And, it may be the general consensus because this roast always tends to be cheaper than the others. I like both the medium and dark versions of this brand. I won’t buy this roast again. If you like light roasts or want extra caffeine, you may want to try it
Ah what can be said about the delivery availability of what used too be my favorite tinned instant coffee. It’s no longer available off the shelf for delivery it must be shipped This trays a headache for me and destroys my purpose in delivery in the first place. I have delivery to meet my fragility needs enouh said Delivery crests a problem since the delivery agent leaves the item at the mansgemrnt office do I have to then arrange pick up. But this answer to your review - I no longer buy this ptoduct Hops Walmart will begin to look at the trend of availability of product as relates to positive reviews. It has distracted me a lot to Finn’s a good product I like only to have it go unavailable to me due to popular Delano. I am sure a little coordinating with your venders distribution folks would affect you orders for stock and the venter would enjoy a deeper demand for their product and an increase in profit. Plus an early warning that need was outstripping Walmarts supply on hand to the distraction of goof customer.s.
Can was just a little over half full and the price was ridiculously high. Thought it would be a larger can when ordering. If I’d known it was such a small quantity I wouldn’t have ordered it. Definitely will not buy this item again. Walmart, stop price gouging!!!!
i would like to know why i was charged $24.13 for this. i ordered a coffee maker at the same time and was yold it was unavailable. i was ar the store and when i went over to the coffee maker section, i found the one i tried to order still want to know why i was charges the amount i was charged
