I can't keep peanut butter in the house due to a serious peanut allergy so we keep SunButter on hand instead. I sometimes eat this on a spoon directly from the jar, but I mainly use SunButter to make protein balls. To the SunButter I add chocolate and vanilla protein powders, Lilly's chocolate chips, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, oatmeal and some honey and/or maple syrup. I roll them into balls, store for days in the refrigerator and have a delicious snack always on hand.

You need to know if you like sunflower seeds or not. This is a good alternative to peanut butter. I use this because of a peanut allergy. Tastes good and has nice texture. Thinner than peanut butter so it spreads easily. I use a good bit on both sides of the bread and can get about a month out of one jar.

I don't eat peanut butter anymore because of the modified fats it contains...most peanut butters these days are peanut flavored shortening. Submitted is simply roasted sunflower seeds, A little sugar and a little salt. The nutty flavor is strong and delightful. It does have a natural layer of separated oil on the top when you open it, however, TURN THE JAR UPSIDE DOWN AND STORE IT ON ITS LID AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STIR OR DEAL WITH A MESS!!! This is delicious. I wish it wss carried in a larger size!

Discovered Sunbutter years ago and am a loyal fan. I always have one in the frigerator and one in the pantry. Delicious for PB and J's. My family readily eats Sunbutter along with me even though I'm the only one that's allergic. I buy the single packs for travel. It's a really great dupe!!!!
