These crackers are always good. We have them around the house all the time. We use them with dips. We use them with along with a salad to make a little crisp. We use them just to munch on a cracker. This is a delightful cracker and I'm sure that you've tried it before but if you haven't bought it recently, you need to reconsider buying them
Love us some Wheat Thins! They are fabulous plain -- we had to move to getting this larger size package as otherwise my husband would polish off the "normal size" box in 2 to 3 days and I'd never get any! They stay fresh for a long time and are fabulous.
SO GOOD WITH A LITTLE CHUNK OF CHEDDAR, OR CHEESE BALL. DON'T EAT THEM PLAIN, BUT HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING GOOD ALONG WITH IT. TO BALANCE THE SAVORY/SWEETNESS HERE. THE SALT IS NOT TOO MUCH, BUT IF YOU BUY THE LOW SODIUM ONES, THEY ARE VERY BLAND. SO I STICK WITH REGULAR WHEAT THINS, ORIGINAL.
"original wheat thins" are very good. they have a buttery taste and they are healthy, too. i usually eat them with slices of pepper jack cheese. i take them with me when i go on trips, along with some pepper jack cheese, for when i need something to eat.
Wheat Thins are my go-to crackers for nearly everything. Sometimes, I even eat them plain if I want a little salty snack! But most of the time, I eat them with cheese or with peanut butter and jelly. They can't be beat, and the price is always right. So delicious!
I grabbed the family size box of Wheat Thins Original because my household goes through snack crackers like water. The box is big enough to last more than a couple of days, which is saying something around here. First thing I noticed when I opened the inner sleeve—the crackers smell toasted and slightly sweet, that familiar Wheat Thins scent. The texture is exactly what you want: crispy, crunchy, and sturdy enough to hold a slice of cheese or a dab of hummus without snapping in half. They're not greasy or oily like some other wheat crackers, which I appreciate. The flavor is classic. Slightly sweet, slightly salty, with that whole grain nuttiness. They're not overpowering, which is why they work with just about anything—peanut butter, tuna salad, sharp cheddar, or honestly just eaten by the handful. My only small complaint is that some crackers in the box are a little darker than others, and those have a slightly more toasted, almost bitter edge. Not bad, just noticeable. The family size box comes with two separate plastic sleeves inside, which keeps the second half fresh while you work through the first. Smart design. I'm hoping the crackers in the second sleeve stay as crisp as the first batch. So far, no staleness issues, but I'll be keeping the box sealed tight. One thing I wondered before buying: do they taste different than the smaller box? Nope. Same cracker, bigger package.
I love weekends with my spinach dip and I made some so this is why I got it and it's about gone, but the dip being gone we like to eat crackers they're good I'll buy them.
Good product but high cost, guess they'll reach a price where I won't buy them anymore. Luckily there are Good generic groceries available and getting better and better, much less expensive too
These are my all-time favorite crackers. Since I was a young girl and I'm 84. Now the change in the ingredients and how these are made has absolutely made these crackers. Now terrible, it tastes like cardboard. There is no hardly any salt. Some of them are burnt. It's just poor quality.
Not wheat thins anymore. Just a box of little cardboard squares now. I tried eating one (just to verify it wasn't just a different look), googled “what happened to wheat thins” and threw the box away
