Bone Broth at this price, and in glass bottle, Good deal!! im trying to increase by collagen intake as iI get older, bone broth is good source. I make a lot of soups, this is a good base to start with. thee large jar lid, is a little hard to open with my arthritis, but is doable.
My first time trying this product. It smelled good from the moment I opened it. Label claims it has 44% less sodium than an unnamed leading competitors broth. 4 servings per container each contains 21% of the daily salt intake. I added salt and herbs de Provence to the broth and my noodles and chicken breast. I also added a bottle of water, the bottle this was packaged in, to my soup. I first tasted it undiluted and no additional seasonings. It's easier to add more seasoning to it than trying to remove it from the broth. Checks off many boxes of a picky customer who prefers ‘clean' food.
I always have used my own broth , because I believed it's better. I cook a lot of complicated dishes, that require the perfect broth. This broth is actually better than mine. it is absolutely amazing. The deep flavors that helps me Shine at dinner makes me happy. And it came from a jar, a jar? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT!!!! THANKS WALMART, YOU SURPASSED YOURSELF THIS TIME....
Amazing! Our 17yo Kitty (her name…daughters were young when they named her) is the OG of our family. She was hospitalized 8 months ago for acute pancreatitis. She thankfully survived, but requires a very specialized diet now. GI prescription food is neither cheap, nor tasty…and she refused to eat the canned or dry version of it. After much time and studying of labels and ingredients, I opted to try Zoup bone broth to help rehydrate the rx dry food so I could use it to blend with a mixture of the rx canned food, along with a bit of Smalls cat food (for taste…picky old gal). She also doesn't drink water anymore (again, picky…maybe a bit ornery) so this bone broth serves as her primary source of hydration. We just had labs drawn on her to make sure organ function and labs are all good so I could adjust her formula, if indicated. Everything was wonderful! No kidney or liver disease, no dehydration, no issues with electrolyte values! Huge sigh of relief on my end knowing I've been doing a good job with nutrition for Kitty, aka OG furry family member, and the gold medal winner of the family! I don't know if I'll ever put so much time, effort, and money into another pet's (yes, family) strict, expensive diet…but Zoup Chicken Bone Broth has allowed us to keep Kitty healthy, hydrated, and happy, and has saved us money because the rx dry food is WAY cheaper than the canned (she wouldn't eat either alone or together anyways). It still costs more to feed her than it does me every month, but as long as she's healthy, happy and not in pain, I'll gladly blend her gourmet, rx diet with her personal Ninja Blender…spoiled little lady :) I have no doubt that, had I not been able to find a safe fluid additive for her blended meals, she would have either entered the renal failure arena by now, or had another round of painful pancreatitis.
This broth has become an absolute must have for me. I've tried every bone broth on the market and this one is my favorite. It doesn't have as much protein as some other brands, but as of flavor it's spot on. This is the only broth that I can drink just as it is. Well I have to heat it up, but other than that, it's perfect. It's a little thicker than some other broths, and it's so soothing as u sip on it. I joke that they're putting crack in it because I'm so addicted to it. The flavor is full and not watered down. U can tell that it's made from the bones and not just from meat. It is somewhat filling, which is perfect for me. I usually drink a whole jar at a time. I can't rave about this broth enough. It may not be for everyone, but it's definitely for me.
I love this product because I needed some bone broth w/o onions %26 garlic in it to make a recipe for my little doggy. I was so happy to find this one because it has no onions or garlic it..Just ask Sparky. lol .I haven't checked the beef one yet, but will soon. I'm very happy with this Zoup! So is my doggy and it's great for her health. Great value %26 price.
our family really enjoys this product. It's one of the few broths that we can buy that doesn't have a lot of added seasoning. If I want seasoning, I can add it, but I'm not stuck with someone else's mix of flavors. I realize it's expensive relatively but the quality is incredible. The shelf life is more than adequate. And I can't recommend it highly enough.
I haven't liked the flavor of other highly-rated bone broths, but this one was really good. I usually buy no-salt or reduced sodium broths, and this didn't taste too salty to me. The price is a bit high, but you get what you pay for with better quality, taste, and glass jar (better than a plastic-lined carton). I tried both a beef and chicken, and I slightly prefer the chicken - the flavor is hard to describe, almost a caramelized finish, but not sweet, just a nice depth of flavor that I pretended was like a rotisserie chicken. I did an all-day clear liquid fast and accidentally watered down the second batch because I forgot I left a little water in the pan on the stove, but it still tasted good despite being a little watered down. One warning about heating it up on the cooktop, it went from not boiling to a full boil rather abruptly. I don't know if that's because of the higher collagen content, but don't go far if you're heating this up with a lid on your pan.
Severely disappointed. I purchased, paid extra to have it delivered, opened it almost immediately. The seal wasn't broken, it popped when it opened but there is a black spot on the underside of the lid. It's no good.
I dont believe this is real bone broth. It doesn't gel up in the fridge the way real bone broth does, and it upsets my stomache. Real bone broth soothes and relaxes the stomache lining, and helps you sleep. Idk what this is. All I know is this is too salty and causes acid reflex. I wish Walmart would start selling collegen inn chicken bone broth. Im sorry, but the brands walmart sells just dont compare.
