I needed a gate that provided a lot of options, and would work on carpet. Due to the gates ability to fold in sections, you'll get a lot of stability. The distance between the rungs should keep most pets in. I like that you can move it and not have it as a permanent fixture. It's lightweight enough you can move it, but solid enough to remain stable and in place. We are training our pet to adapt to different rooms. One room at a time and this works perfectly. Keep in mind if it's a cat or kitten, it can leap over it. If in doubt, get this one for the four panels. The panels easily fold out of the way but having options is good. This does fold easily for storing. It looks nice too.

This is an excellent gate and at a great price! freestanding and 3 fold so it expands to wider than a typical doorway! Easy open to walk thru, does not fall over. Clean coat white finish and no more marring your door jambs with screw in place or pressure mounted gates. I LOVE this gate!!!

The gate seems well made. It was a good price point for what I was looking for, and it arrived when I needed it. Very pleased!

I bought two of these to block off doorways for a new puppy. They look really nice there will made and wide enough to cover large doorways and openings. Awesome much easier to move then a gate with pressure Springs attached to a door

The gate is great. Only on hard wood floor it slides. Need to place a rubber strip on bottom corners.

This pet gate was way more flimsy than I thought it would be. I only have a 5 lb. Yorkie and he could easily knock the gate over. Kind of useless and very poorly made. I would not recommend.

It came apart in just a couple of weeks. My husband tried to staple it back together, but it it didn't hold. I can't believe I spent almost $40 on this piece of junk.

I ordered this item and picked it up at the store. One of the slats was broken. We needed it to block off our Christmas tree from our puppy. It is very flimsy also. I would have returned it but needed it right away. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Very flimsy. Coming apart already. I had to start using wood glue to keep it together. Poor quality. I have 2 gates in my car to return.
