30" Director's Chair

This chair is was stronger than I thought it was going to be! Because of the price I thought it would just be fair but it's so strong and well made!! It's also wider than I thought and actually very comfortable! I looks great in chic! I might just have to buy another! PS. Super easy to assemble it's pretty much all done for you!

First off, when we purchase these Director's Chairs, they are not for personal use. We buy them for our client's use at the Trade Shows they attend. They have to stand up to the constant usage that this kind of event requires, and this is the best chair in the business. We have used them for over 20 years, nothing matches the quality of Newport.

I am a teacher and wanted to have a taller chair at the front of my classroom Instead of a stool. I love this chair, it is the perfect height and very comfortable! I rarely sit when I teach but there are times that I do and this chair is so much better than the stool I used to have, My husband plans to have the back fabric embroidered with my name.

We needed extra seating in our condo for when we had company. The seating needed to have a small footprint but yet fit our décor and be easy to stow if needed. We bought one, with a natural frame and white canvas and loved it. We immediately ordered another one. The chairs are sturdy and have nice rubber feet that protect our wood floor - no need to put protective pads on the leg bottoms. Great value and quality - and they look great!

The chair came with a little nicks from shipping. I wasn't happy about that. However, the chair is great for the price I paid. I'm not putting on the footrest after reading all of the comments that it broke and I like to fold the chair when not in use. Also, with the footrest you can't fold it up.

The driver did not follow delivery instructions and left the package outside my door instead of knocking texting or calling someone could easily have stolen it. Walmart promised me this would not happen.

I bought two of these chairs to use at a farmers market. They look nice and seem to be sturdy enough. I haven't used them for a market yet, but we will see. The canvas is a nice heavy weight. The issues I have with them are that one of the chairs arm had a big digger in it with some splintering of the wood. (veneer?)I suppose that I could put some clear finish on it so it wont cause an injury or splinters or peel away further. I dont want the hassle of returning and waiting for a new one. The other chair was fine. I dont believe this was shipping damage. I also agree with other comments on the foot rest. It is not easily folded up unless you take out the screw on one side. I think I can rig it up though and bought them in spite on the previous comments. All in all, I like them and hope they hold up! Would have given them a 4 rating if weren't for one being damaged/flawed.

Looks great, easy to put together. But ths footrest the first day/time I sat on the stool. Very disappointed in that. Emailed Hayneedle about the problem and have not heard back yet. I will revise my review once a resolution is given to me from Hayneedle. I hope these stools were worth the purchase.

I'm sure this would have been a great chair if the package was dropped and the wood was cracked to pieces. I'm sure it wasn't the fault of the manufacturer or packaging company.

Item was cracked when I get in it the mail Box was half open like they threw it on my porch.
