I would recommend this 30' tree pole pruner, with limitations. So, this pruner will, as advertised reach those high, problematic limbs for trimming and removal.... BUT at full or nearly full extension, the pole saw unit with JUST the blade attachment ONLY, is very heavy, cumbersome, and unwieldy as the fiberglass extensions are heavy and bends [has significant flex] so that extra physical effort is required to mitigate this "bend". In fact the pole saw is so heavy, at full or near complete extension, that on smaller limbs it causes the saw blade to bind and will move the target limb so that the sawing action is ineffective. This requires the user to move closer underneath the target limb to make the "sawing action" effective. Also, the operator needs to possess significant upper body strength to pick up and elevate the pole saw to the desired height/level to operate. After 30 minutes of cutting.... I couldn't cut anymore limbs due to physical discomfort and arm strain. The weight of the pole saw with the heavy pinch/cut tool attached would exacerbate and the weight and control problem, and accordingly could NOT recommend this unit for this usage.

No Manuel or directions. Screw was missing. Blade was so dull it wouldn't even cut the smallest of a switch on a crêpe Myrtle shrub.
