30-Frame Langstroth Hive Frame/Bee Hive Frame/Beehive Frames w/ Metal Roof

I was pleasantly surprised how well the pieces fit together and how little of any of the wood had knots or split zeros pieces missing. Very well cut to fit for easier assembly. I didn't use the nails and instead used %238 x 1-1/2 inch torx plus screws that I predrilled on boxe corners. The inner frames I used 1.5 inch galvanized brad nails and rubbed 100 % bees wax on the black inner foundation pieces. Install the black inner foundations LAST. Used Tite Bond lll for ALL joints after confirmation with 6 inch square that all was squared. I painted mine with 4-5 coats exterior paint (takes two days total paint/dry time) after priming including floor top and bottom, of course not the inside though. Had to cut 3/4” slot for inner top since it came without it. Good luck with yours

the hive arrived ahead of time, which was good. All parts were included and packaged very well. tge manual was so helpful to complete the assembly

Good value for the price. All pieces there. Also arrived quickly. Note of caution: It comes in one huge box as opposed to splitting it up into multiples. The darker section is a top feeder, that I highly recommend, which does not come with this kit.

This beehive is of very good quality. I have not assembled it yet but I look forward to many years of good use. No faults whatsoever!
