30001 Medium Cuttlebone

This was a nice sized cuttlebone that will fit nicely into my cockatiel's cuttlebone holder. I was very pleased to see how well it was packaged. It came wrapped in bubblewrap and was not damaged or broken. I was also please to see that the plastic 'cover' was still securely attached to the cardboard backing. I felt it was worth the price.

that it would give my bird necessary minerals. Also it was said to help with beak trimming. So far he hasn't had any interest it. Hoping he will.

It was smaller than I expected.

When I first got it it worked fantastic but as the days went by I saw build up of algae in the intake tube and the design of the tube made it difficult to clean (finally I used a pipecleaner from both ends and removed the valve knob and did the crossbar) so I was happy until Sunday (the 12th) which is less than 3 months after receiving it. On that day I woke to the filter not functioning at ALL. I contacted the company and requested a replacement if possible and if that was not possible, then a refund. They refuse so I strongly urge to think twice about it.

this is a really small cuttle bone. I would not recommend this.

Too expensive. Buy cuttle in store, if possible.
