The desk comes mostly assembled except for the keyboard shelf, which screws on easily. you could definitely use it without the shelf, which is what i did the first day before i put it together. So far it rises and lowers easily. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is looking at purchasing a standing desk but can't spend the money.

This works for me. My desk is an L shape and I thought this stand may be too small but it works. My laptop is larger than the one in the product picture and I have mine set-up like that with a 3rd monitor to the left on my desk. I simply raise the 3rd monitor/screen to the level of the monitor on the riser and it works out fine. I had to leave the 3rd monitor on desk because the taller it is the more unstable it becomes and has risk of toppling over.

Easy assembly! Only took about 10 minutes. Smooth operation. If you're over 6 ft tall, this may not raise up high enough for you, depending on the height of the desk it's on. It lifts up high enough for me. I'm about 5' 8" and my desk seems a little shorter than average. I tend to bump my knees a lot. But this desk makes work life so much easier! Several coworkers have asked for the link to buy one, too.

Design is just a little bulky, I was trying to preserve a personalized desk, but I'm going to just get the standing desk itself, this definitely serves its purpose though, very sturdy and easy to assemble

It sits too low and doesn't come up high enough to put two desktop monitors and a laptop.

Eh…to big and doesnt go too flat

It tilts forward and you can't lean on it without fear of dropping your monitors
