I love the 36" reach this grabber has. And I love how compact it is when folded, and how easy it is when it's unfolded. It helps me pick up the stainless steel food bowls and plastic water bowls I use to feed my 6 feral cats. Raccoons and possums frequently raid the food at night, and push the bowls under the porch in the crawl space. The grabber helps me reach in to get them.

This one is a little longer which makes it easier for me to pick up pine cones in the yard ! When I used the shorter one I had to bend over more and it caused my back to hurt. The joys of old age...!! I am 5 ft. 7 inches tall and this longer one works better for me !

I'm giving these Reacher Grabbers all my thumbs up, and I am aware I have only two but I am giving 100% of the available and I am keeping the rest of my phalanges and YES I mean every single digit!!! I've tried several different types of Reacher Grabbers and the one I am currently using, purchased from Walmart and delivered to my door are my choice because they are the best functioning of All. I'm a Disabled retiree. I've gained a lot of weight the last couple years from being ill so I have quite a big gut and muscle weakness. anyway my house would always look a mess, because when I'd drop something it would just stay there on the floor until somebody came and got it up for me. I just couldn't take that anymore; then I purchased this. One of the best investments I've made. My floor is clean, I can reach high, I can get under tables. Only a very little few times have I closed it and kind of used it for a cane. Shhh ;)

there is only all good to say about this item. it's a grabber for people who have trouble bending. or reaching. or just plain fun. this has been a lifesaver for me I tried it out. it has a magnet that picks up metal. it also will pick up I believe up to 8 lb. this has been a relief for my back. so I can heal and get my health back to normal. I really really love this item. for all you people who have issues with your health you really need this it was only $30. I showed a photo of it picking up a metal fly swatter with the magnet

I love this grabber. I needed an extra one after having major back surgery and cannot bend over. I am very pleased how the latch locks it in when you extend it. I have another folding grabber and it does not want to stay straight. It wants to fold up. I don't have to worry about this folding up unless I choose to fold it up myself. Thank you!!! if you've not have the older version of this brand prior to purchasing this, you might be satisfied. Old version-I bought two almost 7 years ago, one recently broke when it was stepped on. I got online to order the same brand since they last and are good quality with heavy daily use VS New Version... new version arrived, and my concerns are justified. . it does have the same incredible grip, you can pick up a coin that's laying flat on the ground very easily. the handle is very easy to use with arthritic hands, requiring little strength to grip it does still have a flashlight, just not easily accessible now. this one does have a magnet on the end, however does not have a hook. the hook was very very handy. the new version folds up in 3 places, requiring you to clip in place, and if you do not clip it properly it will collapse when you are trying to reach things, and you cannot lift as heavy of items as the old version. I would be thrilled to be able to find the old version or would be very happy if they would bring back some of the better qualities, especially the length not folding up as much. the old version folded in half, and did not require locking in place, it was automatic when you opened it and it did not collapse while using it's a shame because these were great, and now they're just okay.

I have used 32 inch and thought this 36 inch would be as good or better. It has 2 places to lock in the 3 parts instead of 1 place to lock like the 32 inch. That seems to make it weaker and the locks easily bend and don't stay in place. So it doesn't hold objects well at all. Just seems quite weak overall.

When I receive this, I thought it was gonna be good but within two or three times that I used it. It was no good anymore. It wouldn't pick up the clouds. Don't even close on it so that you can grab something. It stays open and it sticks so no, I would not recommend anybody to buy. This is a piece of garbage.!

this product is cheaply made. it's the second one that I bought from Walmart and it didn't even last a month this string that goes down the center of it that closes and opens the end with the gripper has broken. it's the second one the second time. I think you need to check quality control I wasn't doing anything extensive with it at all. I would actually like to return them. I still have one of them and I have pictures of it that I like to attach and send to you.
