Since I have mobility issues this is one of my lunch/dinner/light afternoon snacks and the taste is great as well as the texture. I have to watch my weight so I find the ingredients and nutrients information helpful in maintaining my calorie and carbohydrates and all that comes along with it intake. I prefer this over the other products that I have reviewed and am satisfied with everything about it. Even the cost is just a few cents cheaper
GV Greek Strawberry Yogurt is one of my regular buys. When I'm on a yogurt kick I eat a lot of it. No problems with this brand as long as I stir it well to distribute that top layer. Not sure if the top layer is a preservative, but without that stir it can have sort of a chemical taste. Same with cottage cheese. I like this yogurt and suggest trying it.
My local Walmart stocks many yogurt brands so I confess that my 1st purchase of GV Greek-style Yogurt was based on price... However, its consistent quality, great taste and rich texture have earned a permanent spot on my refrigerator door. Many adults experience "Lactose Intolerance" to some degree and avoid 'most all dairy products. However, the extra filtering to produce Greek-style yogurt removes most of any remaining lactose so more adults can enjoy this healthy treat without being "Inconvenienced."
I recommend to the person ordering Great Value brand of both vanilla and strawberry, ORDER MORE. Many people are buying this brand. When I order it (7 a week) it is subscription automatically. There were none left and substituted the past three weeks. Sad face.LOVE THE YOGURT. Love the PRICE.
I truly enjoy Great Value Strawberry Nonfat Greek Yogurt. I enjoy the texture, taste and as an added bonus I like adding fresh strawberries to the yogurt. The strawberries give this burst of flavor followed by the texture and taste of the yogurt. Lastly it is Nonfat. I love it
It is very creamy ! The calories are only 80. The sugar is "sucralose" but is the next to the last ingredient so it is insignificant if someone is worried about artificial sweetener. The regular Vanilla Greek Yogurt is 130 calories with regular sugar.
i used to use Dannon Light 'N Fit and I've used Great Value Greek Yogurts for at least 5 years and now they're my go-to Greek yogurts! They taste so much better - especially the Great Value Strawberry Greek Yogurt 32oz size. The yogurt is already mixed up and its so creamy and delicious! I'm totally disabled and on a tremendous amount of medications; throughout the day %26 night and I use this one to take my meds with. Mmmmnnnnn so good! Try Great Value Strawberry Greek yogurt, especially the 32 oz kind that's already mixed up. YOU'LL LOVE IT! IT IS SO TASTEFUL AND CREAMY AND MOST DELICIOUSALA IN THE DISHALA! TRY IT TODAY ~ I WOULD NOT LEAD YOU ASTRAY!
This yogurt is good for the price but not my favorite. I think the texture is less like a typical greek yougurt, it's not super creamy, more like regular style. The flavor is fine. It's acceptable but I would probably not buy it over some of the other greek yogurt brands out there.
Despite my average rating, I recommend this product if you like a HEAVY, GREEK yogurt. I don't. I prefer the softer flavor of the name brands, but I'm not generally a big fan of Greek yogurt, so because I wasn't fond of this, it's probably a decent Greek. :) It's thick, it has a real yogurty taste. I was not crazy about the texture, but based on the descriptions of how Greek is SUPPOSED to taste and what the consistency is supposed to be, this meets those criteria. It's a thicker Greek than the Yoplait, with a sharper taste, and that is my point of reference for Greek. The strawberry flavoring helped me to finish this... plus adding in a bunch of regular yogurt to get it to the texture I can tolerate (suggesting in case you find yourself in the same yogurt boat).
I've been eating this yogurt every morning for at least 6yrs. b It was my replacement for when Oikos stopped making regular greek yogurt, not fat free yuck. Not anymore, I can add this to the list of Great Value (specifically) products that has gone straight downhil, in just the last few weeks. The taste of my last 2 containers is very different. Like a fake cherry yuck. So once again I need to find a new brand of greek yogurt.
