It's a very great product that I've purchased before in a smaller quantity. I decided to buy this to have more for later. It's very clean and smells natural and is affordable and can really give your reptile enclosure a naturalistic look appearance.

I use it with the coconut chips to help maintain the moisture in my ball python and boa constrictor enclosures works fabulously you don't have to change it as often as you would think it's great stuff

Very good quality…. appearance, color %26 texture all perfect. For better value, I would recommend going with a larger quantity

I have a size 30g tank for my turtle I put this in one spot in the back of it love it I spray water on it every other day.

I like that you get a big quantity for a great price. I did run into problems with it getting moldy fast, but overall it was a good product.

was disappointed when I received it until I realized it was compressed. good quality and enough to fill the whole tank if necessary

it is dry and dusty and has sticks in it but it says if ya wet it then it expands so that might work.

Very disappointed with this. I've ordered sphagnum moss before and after hydrating it, it becomes nice and light and fluffy for adding to vivariums. This stuff reminds me of cardboard almost. Never buying thing brand again, I won't even add it to my tank.

I use this item for my companion animal, not my pet. I use sphagnum moss I usually get from the gardening store. I decided to try this product from Walmart. It smelled like fresh, dry hay when I opened it. I soaked it, and let it expand in order to separate it. If you plan to only use part of the block, cut it lengthwise, through the block. because the cage I warm and moist, I noticed a weird smell, the next day. Not mold or rot. It was old dog food. The smell was quite unpleasant. When fluffed up, the moss filled a 5 Gallon bucket, and more. It was a great product in all ways, except that unpleasant odor. I ended up using it in the garden.
