I got this great for my dog ... I now have two dogs and only one crate. Not good. So, off to walmart.com to shop for another crate. Frankly, it was not an easy choice as walmart.com has thousands of pet crates to choose from! But what ultimately impressed me the most about this crate is that - inch for inch - you get far more space for a lower price. Yes, that's right---far more space for a lower price! Additionally, it is exactly as described. Lightweight. (I have to have lightweight.) My back is not going to tolerate moving heavy things anymore. This crate is so easy to put together. It 'popped up' in about 3 seconds.... you just pull up, and it folds itself together, like, a Pop-Tart popping up out of a toaster! Good thing, bcuz usually, when I have to "put something together" - an ambulance has to be called, bcuz somehow, I always get injured. It's a wonder I still have all my fingers and toes! But this crate - man! So refreshing! Crazy easy assembly. It also has a convenient carrying handle. The divider panel is AWESOME. And the BEST part is that it has TWO doors! There is a potty pan, but I don't crate my animals for long, so it is unlikely they will use it for any pottying. I will only use the crate if it is not appropriate to bring them in the car. Definitely, at night, the dogs get crated.
We all have our own sleeping spaces. Dogs on my bed equals - NOBODY - gonna get any decent rest. Now, for those of you wondering about the ACTUAL size and how it plays out.
What I can tell you is ... my dogs are 20 lbs and under. I personally would not think you could put anything heavier than a 20 lb dog in this particular size crate. (Otherwise, that would be sort of "stuffing" your animal in there.) ... and that, of course, is not good. But 20 lb or under, it is SO perfect. Needless to say, I highly recommend this crate. Walmart you have a winner here!
