We put up new clotheslines after my old ones got wrecked. The new coated cables have loops at each end. I used turnbuckles to attach them at one end, and S hooks at the other. The turnbuckles ended up being too long so I replaced those with S hooks. While this was an easy fix, the wind would flip whatever was hung on the clotheslines until the S hooks became unhooked, my items ended up on the ground and a search for the S hooks began. Enter Quick Links!! Although the smaller ones I bought first don't open far enough to attach to the I-bolts on my crossbars, this size is perfect! And I'm keeping the smaller ones, they were inexpensive and are bound to come in handy for something. Picture of this item and the smaller one I bought first.
Great way to provide extra strength and security to dog crate!!!
Just perfect for what I needed. Great little product.
works great and was just what I needed
Just enough chain for what I needed - good price
Good value
As advertised
weight ratio what we needed opening on link could be bigger
I didn't give a very good rating on those clips because they were a lot smaller then I thought they would be. Or I'm dumb and didn't see in the discription how big they were. I assumed the 3 16th was how big around the metal that makes up the rings was. But I would still recommend them because they don't wear out like other types of clips do. I use mine to hold chains together and ropes onto other types of holders for my dogs who are so strong that they wear out any other type of clips holding them chained up. (sounds cruel but I don't have a fence around my yard...yet) You just have to make sure you tighten them up with a tool and don't rely on finger tightening because they will work loose. They work loose but don't break like the other types of clips I've used, even if they are a little small. you won't be constantly replacing them either.
Not right part that I ordered. The shopper at Wal-Mart picked out this item...not even similar to what I ordered. Low review only because it wasn't what I ordered
