This is better than any namebrand that I've ever tried. I use it as a condiment, and I also use it in baking or in savory cooking…. And when I use it for that, I want full fat sour cream and this is just so creamy with such a good flavor and very few ingredients

I don't like the name brand sour cream as it usually tastes weird to me. This, however, is good sour cream. We always by this brand and we use a lot of it. It goes on our tacos, burritos, nachos, breakfast burritos, in cake, pancakes, etc. Works well with a lot of recipes that need a little cream and a touch of sour. We usually buy 2 of the large containers of this a month and use it all.

My family and I totally LOVE this Great Value Original Sour Cream! This has ONLY the Cultured Cream with the Enzyme and has a nice thick consistency anfda great sour cream flavor. This is perfect for topping our baked potatoes, Mexican food, and for using in Beef Stroganoff and Swedish Meatball recipes. So yummy!

Nice and thick (I stir before using anyway). I store at the back of my fridge because there is so much to use. I rarely need to throw any out because of it going bad. Downside - in order to insure it doesn't go bad, I probably use more of it than I should. Delicious problem.

I didn't buy sour cream. I committed to it. I put this on everything. Tacos. Potatoes. Veggies. Meat. Other condiments that thought they were safe. If ranch is a lifestyle, sour cream is a calling. I don't dip into it — I arrive. Sometimes with a spoon. Sometimes with intent. Sometimes just with my face. Texture? Luxurious. Flavor? Whispering “you deserve peace” directly to my soul. Cooling, tangy, grounding. I'm calmer when it's nearby. I'm a better person when it's open. Yes, I just bought 12 pounds of it. No, I won't be explaining myself. Some people stock up on water. I stock up on emotional stability. Five stars. Would drink again. Might already be doing so. 🥣💅

My family loves sour cream, we eat it with everything. The thickness and taste are perfect The only issue I have is with the container. The top is very difficult to get off as it snaps into place all the way around. This is great because it keeps it severely air tight! However, as I get older, my muscles have weakened and things are challenging to pull open; but my boys have no problem getting it opened.

Best sour cream I've used yet and I've tried them all and I love sour cream, but the one from Walmart is creamy thick and it lasts a lot longer than one of the top namebrand ones and it doesn't have all that water residue in it great value for the price

I ordered great value 48 oz sour cream on the 27 ate some on burrito Feb 5 got very sick checked date item expired Jan 22 2026 I didn't even order til the 27!!! Walmart bright me expired food I got mad diarrhea!!! I think you should compensate me for getting sick!!! how does this happen you deliver expired food!!!!

I've never seen sour cream like this one. The texture is super thick, hard to scoop onto the food. It resists heat. The items on my plate can come out of the microwave piping hot but the strange sour cream stays luke warm. It won't melt!! The next day it will still be sitting there, thick %26 pasty. Great Value... Please tell us about your secret ingredients! Inquiring minds want to know!! 🤔

I CANNOT RATE WHAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED TO ME. I spent two (2) hours on the PHONE and on the CHAT with 2 AGENTS and a SUPERVISOR to COMPLAIN ABOUT ITEMS I DID NOT RECEIVE. They told me they would REFUND ME and now I see they REFUNDED me just 5% of WHAT I WAS MISSING FROM MY ORDER. Never will I ever shop at Walmart again and I am complaining.
