I've used body filler many times. Bondo brand is the best without a doubt. Other brands may work, but Bondo brand is always consistent and the mix rate is easy to understand. I wouldn't buy anything else.
I'm 59 years old and I put in a rotten sub floor in my parents bedroom. I removed and replaced the sub floor and built up the unever areas. I watched this Old House and they recommended your product because it will never rot again. Mix it, put it on and sanded it and then painted it.
Was really easy to use and drys very sturdy. Better price then local hardware stores near me. Will buy again
Easy to spread on. Not a lot of dust residue after sanding the product. It is fast drying.
Bondo is Bondo is Bondo. Traditional formula is great for many things. The only problem is shipping and the challenges of getting a metal can in a box barely larger than the metal can to be shipped without debts occurring. Mine came with a huge dent on the bottom edge.
This works great for body work but I do have a problem with the amount. The online description says 1LB but when it came, it is just under that.
Item was shipped in plain box. Unfortunately, shipper tossed, dropped r SOMETHING! Bcuz when the BOX was received intact, we opened the box, n bondo was ALL SPILLED OVER INTO THE PLASTIC WRAPPING, BCUZ Lid Had come off! it was a MESS N unusable. walmart did refund r money. STARDEN should be using Box marked w THIS SIDE UP!!!!! Caustic material so unusable at this time. WEAR gloves!!Go buy in person. walmart great though.
The can was received damaged from transit. Being a sticky, gooey substance, it was a PIA to clean up and put back into the can. For a couple dollars difference I'll buy local so it know what condition it is in when I buy it. No, it would not have been worth while to file a claim with FedEx for the damage because of the additional time to file and then maybe get a replacement that might or might not be damaged. Lesson learned and move on.
can came damage in seam in bottom,, could not get the picture to work, shame the people handing this stuff can not ship it with out smashing it. But would help if they would have pack it with some petition beside just a thin box that was same size.It cost me money running this stuff back for refund NOT HAPPY
Came damaged, did not get to use it. Fed X did a poor handling job during shipment.
