This tape worked great! I previously had ordered from a different seller the tape in a roll. It wouldn't stick no mater what I tried. They were kind enough to send me a replacement. No stick either. So if I buy again the precut is for me. The car dealers will charge around 6 to 700 dollars for this installed already.
Clean your door edge and hands well and take your time. It is pretty easy to install, adheres well and is not noticeable.
It was what was expected.
It can fit any size, shape and color door
I installed this on our GMC Acadia two years ago and they still look as good as the day I put them on. Several videos on YouTube explain installation and I recommend watching at least one, but once you've seen it done they're simple to install. Make certain to prep the door edge with alcohol as recommended. They're unbelievably inexpensive when you do it yourself. I'll be installing them on our new Buick Cascada tomorrow.
3M products are always good. Dealers can charge $50 to $150 for the same door edge guards installed. They will typically do all 4 doors - depending on your driving habits like mine 98% of the driving is done alone so only doing the drivers door is needed. These guards protect your car and protect other peoples cars. I am very cautious not to park close to and / or hit someone's cars but I have on rare occasions. With the edge guard I have protection for both cars without any noticeable difference in the look of my vehicle.
Easy to install, worked as advertised. I used a dish-washing soap and them wiped clean with alcohol in colder temperatures. Door guard installed easily and is still in place.
This edging was relatively easy to install. The only downside is that it's too thin - it doesn't provide a very well cushioned protection.
Product worked fine but could be wider and thicker. Not anything like the product dealer can install for hundred of dollars.
Good product and thickness. My only complaint is that the strips are narrow and would like to see option on wider width of at least 1/2 inch overlap
