I used this product on a laminate counter top and had excellent results. I used particle board as the substrate and applied two coats, per the recommendation by the manufacturer, waiting about two hours between coats. After the second coat on the particle board, and the first on the laminate I waited about 1 1/2 hours and joined the two together with a 3" j-roller. The adhesion was immediate and strong. There is some odor with this, but nothing like a solvent based product. Overall I'm completely satisfied with 3M Contact Adhesive and will use again and recommend to others. Just follow the instructions and I don't think you'll have a problem.

Works like a dream
Used this to laminate formica sheet to a plywood backer to be used as a RV kitchen countertop. Easy to apply with a foam roller and can be cleaned up with water. Has no nasty fumes or off-gassing. Dried adhesive is not tacky or sticky so spacers slide out with no issues. Once pressed and rolled together the bond is super strong.

Garbage
One of the worst adhesive products I have ever used or heard about. What does this stuff even stick to don't waste a second on this stuff stick with contact cement.
