3M High Bond Rearview Mirror Adhesive, Two-Part Structural Acrylic System, 0.02 fl oz

Bought product and followed all instructions. Window was cleaned with denatured alcohol. Primer used on button and glass and given 5 minutes to cure. Placed one drop of the adhesive on the button and held in place for 3 minutes to be certain. Waited three days to mount the mirror. Mirror immediately fell off ripping the bottom off the glass and damaging my windshield.

I would give the product a zero rating if I could. I followed the instructions as carefully and thoroughly as any person possibly could. Although the instructions say ready to mount in 15 minutes I tried to play it safe and waited overnight. When I tried to mount the mirror it simply fell off. Barely a hint of adhesion to the glass. Unless this is an isolated bad batch I can only say that such an obviously worthless and misleading product should be taken off the market IMMEDIATELY! I am going to let my retailer (and everyone else) know that this is a bogus product that will leave only unhappy customers. I will request a refund from them as well so that maybe you will get some feedback from them (major chain.)

After reading the other reviews, I felt that they likely hadn't cleaned and prepared the surface adequately - or did not wait long enough, Pulled vehicle into climate control garage, prepped meticulously followed instructions, gave 5 days to fully cure. When attempting to attach the mirror, the base came off the window. I was able to wipe the remaining liquid glue off the glass. The glue is just not curing. Don't buy this stuff!

followed the directions and then some. cleaned and prepped the botton and glass, let cure over night, went to mount mirror 12 hours later... not the advertised 15 minutes, and the button popped free before the weight of the mirror was even on it. I wish I would have read these reviews before I wasted my time.
