[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this 3M Multi-use Duct tape! I used it to tape the back of a clock that had a battery case missing. I also taped a cracked handle on my ash fireplace shovel. I always use this 3M tape to wrap boxes for shipping because they really hold up well and I know my packages will arrive safely. This flexible and stretchable duct tape tears easily and neatly, both horizontally or vertically. The adhesion is excellent and won't jumble into a wad when trying to affix it to something. It is waterproof both on front and bottom so would work well and last long on those outdoor repairs. We have repaired a leak on our camper roof, a torn tent, and a firewood tarp with great results. Everyone needs a good duct tape. I always put a roll or two in my friends housewarming or new neighbor gift baskets! I tried the shiny silver shade that came in a roll of 1.88" x 60 yd. There are also many other colors to choose from. I received this product free from 3M to evaluate and I highly recommend it to others. 3M is a very superior and reputable brand. Cannot go wrong with this company.

And I needed to apply some fresh Duct Tape on my Duct work too I would highly recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Free Sample of the 3M Multi Use Duct Tape for Evaluational Purposes. I found this 3 M Duct Tape to be a very good quality tape. I used it to repair a chair with a leg that kept coming apart. Prior to the duct tape there was a bungee cord holding it together. After repairing the chair leg, I wanted to be sure that it would hold up under normal use. I'm of average size , maybe a little bit overweight, but I sat down and visited with my Sister and had dinner. With all the normal activities the chair leg held up great! I sat there for several hours right after I put the tape on there. The Duct Tape was very easy to apply around the chair leg. There was no problem tearing the tape off the roll, and, it applied easily. I will definitely be recommending 3M Multi - Use Duct Tape to anyone who needs a high quality tape that's strong and easy to use. I didn't have any problems with the tape sticking to itself and balling up creating a mess. I also repaired a little wire on my headphones, where the cord was getting thin. I think this is a great value for your money. It's strong and can handle multiple types of repairs and taping boxes too!

This is my go-to duct tape for everyday stuff around the house. Grips well and works well even in the shower area where I used it to keep water from getting to the grout and wall when a couple of tiles got knocked off. This tape does not like UV light. I have stopped using it outside. I use Gorilla brand for outside. Keep in mind that this tape removes cleaner than Gorilla brand. Gorilla brand leaves a lot of sticky residue when removed. This tape leaves some but not as much and it cleans up with isopropyl alcohol.
